What do you like best about Anaplan?

The calculation engine, first and foremost. One driver changes and every dependent module, dashboard, and report recalculates instantly, without dragged formulas or broken references. Dimensionality lives at the module level, so the logic remains readable long after it's built. It's a model you maintain instead of a spreadsheet you babysit. Add the newer UX enhancements, which make things noticeably easier for end users, plus solid integration with upstream and downstream systems and the recently introduced AI features, and it's a strong package. What do you dislike about Anaplan?

Honestly, nothing significant. It's a well-rounded tool that covers everything I need it to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Anaplan solving and how is that benefiting you?

Anaplan has taken the pain out of connecting our upstream and downstream systems, so data flows in on a schedule rather than someone pulling it manually. That means the numbers are refreshed frequently and automatically, and the team is working from a current single source of truth instead of chasing versions. Performance and UX are both a step up from spreadsheets, so end users can navigate large, complex models without files slowing to a crawl or breaking. It has also cut down significantly on manual close-cycle effort and given us the audit trail and access controls that spreadsheets simply can't offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
