I really value the platform’s flexibility in translating complex business processes into scalable planning models. The UX and intuitive model-building experience help speed up development, and the strong integration capabilities make data flows simpler and more reliable. What do you dislike about Anaplan?

Anaplan’s biggest challenge is managing model size and performance as solutions scale. Complex formulas and large data volumes can require significant optimization effort. Integration setup can also be dependent on surrounding tools and expertise. The platform’s licensing cost may feel high for smaller implementations, particularly when ROI is harder to quantify. What problems is Anaplan solving and how is that benefiting you?

Anaplan helps replace complex Excel-based planning and disconnected processes with a centralized, auditable planning solution. For me, this means faster model development, reusable calculation logic, automated data flows, and easier scenario modelling. Features like Versioning, Actions, Imports, and UX Pages reduce manual effort, while real-time calculations allow business users to quickly assess the impact of changes across connected plans.
