What do you like best about Anam?

We build restaurant software in Dubai and Beirut, and our AI waiter & AI host needed a face guests would actually talk to. Anam gave us that in a weekend. The persona takes our own brain and our own voice, the lip sync is good on a phone over a normal connection, and the avatar starts fast enough that a guest at a table does not give up. The persona settings are simple: a name, a voice, a few lines of direction, and she is live. The team answers questions quickly and the models keep improving. We run two personas, one for ordering at the table and one for taking bookings, and both feel like the same company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Anam?

What problems is Anam solving and how is that benefiting you?

Guests do not read menus on a phone the way they talk to a person. Before Anam our AI waiter was a voice and a microphone button, and people treated it like a phone menu: short, careful, one question and done. With a face in front of them they speak the way they speak to a waiter. They ask what is in a dish, what goes with it, whether something is spicy, and they order in full sentences, in English or in Arabic, and she answers in kind.

For the restaurant that means orders go to the kitchen from the table without a waiter standing there, and the guest still feels served. For us it turned a feature into a product. The same persona also takes table bookings on our reservation page, so a guest meets one host from the booking to the bill.

The benefit we measure is simple: in demos the room goes quiet when she answers, and owners ask for her by name. That is what sells it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
