I’m a software engineer, not a PM - but Amplitude helped me think like one on a recent project. Structured events turned “is anyone using this?” into something I could measure. I stopped guessing what to fix or improve next and started deciding based on usage and failure patterns. That’s what I like best: it bridges engineering and product without a separate analytics stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes real event hygiene to get value - messy tracking becomes messy charts. The UI is powerful but can feel oriented toward PMs, not engineers doing one-off debugging. Pricing and limits can bite once volume grows. Worth it, but not zero maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
