What do you like best about Amazon Polly?

I use Amazon Polly to create audio versions of health education content, diet guidance material, awareness posts, and educational content for social media. As a dietician & nutritionist, Homeopathy Clinic Manager and content creator, I often explain health topics, nutrition concepts, and lifestyle recommendations to patients, students, and online audiences. Polly helps me convert written content into clear voice narration without spending extra time recording everything manually. The voices sound natural, and I like having different voice and language options available for different types of content. The audio quality is clear, pronunciation is generally accurate, and the output stays consistent even when working with longer educational articles. I also found the performance reliable, as audio generation is usually fast and the platform handles larger text content smoothly without much effort.

One thing I find especially useful is that it helps me repurpose content. A written article, patient education material, or health awareness script can also be converted into audio for people who prefer listening. What do you dislike about Amazon Polly?

Different voices are available, but not every voice supports every engine or region. I sometimes needed to switch settings before finding the combination I wanted. The overall voice quality has been good, but I would like to see more voice options available across all voice styles and engines. In some cases, the available choices can feel a little limited depending on the selected settings. What problems is Amazon Polly solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is helping solve the problem of turning written content into audio without spending time on manual voice recording. In my work, I create health education content, patient awareness material, nutrition guidance, and educational resources for students and online audiences. Recording voiceovers manually for every piece of content can take a significant amount of time.

With Amazon Polly, I can convert articles, health tips, awareness content, and educational scripts into audio much faster. This makes it easier to provide information in both written and audio formats.
