"Stable, Secure, and Seamlessly Integrated with AWS"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Amazon Linux 2?

What I like best about Amazon Linux 2 is its stability and seamless integration with AWS services. In my DevOps work, I’ve used it for provisioning EC2 instances, configuring Docker and Kubernetes environments, and automating deployments. It’s lightweight, secure, and optimized for AWS, making it a reliable choice for building and managing cloud infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amazon Linux 2?

One limitation I’ve experienced with Amazon Linux 2 is that some packages and development tools can be older than those available on other Linux distributions. This sometimes requires adding extra repositories or performing manual updates when setting up newer DevOps tools. However, the trade-off is a stable and reliable operating system for production workloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
