What I like most about Amazon Inspector is that it can continuously scan AWS workloads for software vulnerabilities and unintended network exposure with very little operational overhead. After you enable it, it automatically evaluates Amazon EC2 instances, Amazon ECR container images, and AWS Lambda functions, so there’s no need to manually schedule scans.
I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with AWS Security Hub, Amazon EventBridge, and AWS Organizations, which makes it much easier to manage vulnerabilities consistently across larger AWS environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Inspector provides detailed vulnerability findings, it’s easy for organizations to accumulate a large volume of alerts in a short time. To avoid alert fatigue, you really need solid prioritization, well-defined suppression rules, and clear remediation workflows. Also, some of the remediation guidance still requires additional investigation outside the service to fully understand and address the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
