What do you like best about Amazon FSx for Lustre?

Amazon FSx for Lustre delivers high-performance parallel file storage designed for HPC, machine learning, media rendering, and large-scale analytics workloads. I particularly like its ability to process millions of IOPS with low latency while integrating seamlessly with Amazon S3.

The service automatically provisions managed Lustre clusters without requiring storage administration. Performance is excellent for distributed compute environments such as SageMaker training jobs, HPC clusters, and large Spark workloads where throughput is critical. What do you dislike about Amazon FSx for Lustre?

FSx for Lustre is purpose-built for high-performance computing and is not intended for general-purpose file sharing. It also requires familiarity with parallel file systems to maximize performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Amazon FSx for Lustre solving and how is that benefiting you?

FSx for Lustre accelerated compute-intensive AI and analytics workloads requiring extremely high storage throughput.

Example: Machine learning training datasets stored in Amazon S3 were linked directly to FSx for Lustre.
