We had PRI, POTs, and broadband service from one of Altice's competitors (rhymes with horizon). The PRI service would routinely go down, which would affect our ability to receive customer service calls. The cost of said services from Altice's competitor was also pretty steep. Even though we had an SLA with said company, service would typically be restored late, which led to not only frustration on our end but also on our customers' end, which translated to lost sales. We reached out to Altice Business, and they provided us with quotes for various service levels. We ended our relationship with the previous company and chose a SIP trunk and broadband service from Altice Business. We have yet to lose service in the two years we've been with Altice, and the service quality is impeccable, not to mention, we're now paying roughly half of what we were paying with our previous service company. We greatly value the reliability that Altice Business' service is providing us. We have yet to have any issues with their broadband or SIP trunk service, as well as the POTs or fax lines brought through the same fiber line. One other positive worth mentioning is that they set up their own SBC (session border controller) in your network environment, to which you connect for the SIP trunk service. This fact is not really mentioned in any of their advertising or on any message boards (based on our research before acquiring the service). This is excellent because you don't have to fuss with any firewall configurations or PBX configurations to reach out to some external network address for SIP trunk service - you simply connect to the SBC within your own network.
