What do you like best about Allo?

I love that Allo uses the familiar options of a Kanban board with very flexible workspace functionality. What I love the most is the whiteboard feature which create virtual desks where we can 'lay it all out' virtually between team members and clients Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Allo?

I dont' really have a down side - all I would say is that it is good to learn what it is good for and what there are better tools for. Project management for example is not what I would use Allo for, nor do I think it should focus on that functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Allo:

This product has many great applications, in particular if you are working remotely with people. Also great client facing tool - easy sharing of documents for low-tech individuals Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Allo solving and how is that benefiting you?

One key problem is gathering website content from a client. I can set up a page per page way where clients can add their content including word docs, images and so on. They do not have to be high tech to do this, and easier than teaching them to use dropbox or other tools if they are not familiar with them. Those clients who do use dropbox, can just drop the link in here. We are also using it to brainstorm our internal workflows and processes as we work towards documentation.
