What do you like best about Aline AI?

What do you dislike about Aline AI?

Honestly, very little that isn't a function of how new the category is. My main note is that the tool is only as good as the precedent you feed it. Early on I spent time getting our templates and prior agreements organized enough for Aline to draw from. I'd also like deeper native handling of tracked changes and comment threads in redline-heavy negotiations, since that's where a lot of my day lives. Neither has been a barrier to getting real value out of the product, and both feel like roadmap items rather than flaws. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Aline AI solving and how is that benefiting you?

The core problem is capacity. Every hour spent hunting for precedent or rebuilding a clause from scratch is an hour not spent on the matters that actually need judgment.

Aline solves three things concretely:

Drafting throughput. Generating solid first-pass language directly in Word means routine agreements move in minutes instead of half a day. The benefit isn't just speed; it's that I stop deferring low-urgency work that then piles up.

Portfolio visibility. The multi-document comparison workflow lets me map key provisions across the full set of agreements with a major client and see where terms diverge. That used to be a manual exercise I could only justify when something had already gone wrong. Now it's a routine step before renewals and negotiations, which means I'm catching inconsistencies proactively rather than reactively.

Consistency across entities. Working across affiliated entities with different templates and counterparties creates real risk of drift. Having a common drafting layer keeps our positions aligned without me having to police every document personally.

The net benefit is that the business gets legal support at the pace it actually moves, and I get to spend my time on the matters where counsel judgment is the differentiator rather than on document assembly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
