What do you like best about Aleph?

Aleph provides automated insights into our financials, catching and flagging issues right away so we can resolve them quickly. It’s been great being able to use their connectors to bring our data into one place, which helps us gain valuable visibility into the business and make fast, informed decisions. We’ve also appreciated the hands-on approach Aleph takes, with dedicated support that addresses our questions and issues promptly. Aleph has been reliable and has continued to grow its capabilities over the year we’ve been a client. We’ve been able to shorten our close, and we’ve seen a strong return by avoiding the need to add extra headcount for analysis that Aleph can handle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

My only issue with Aleph is that the data isn’t always current and often requires scheduled or manual refreshes, especially when it’s connected to the accounting platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Aleph solving and how is that benefiting you?

Aleph has been solving our multi-entity reporting problem. We’re a venture studio doing the accounting for a portfolio of companies, each on its own QuickBooks file, plus Shopify, Stripe, Gusto, HiBob, Clockify and bank feeds. Before Aleph, consolidating 13 companies meant exporting reports, stitching spreadsheets together and rebuilding the same numbers every month, so most of our close was spent pulling data instead of reviewing it.

Now every company syncs into one workspace, and we build consolidated P&L, balance sheet and GL tables once and reuse them everywhere. Our monthly finance review deck and company financial statements pull live from Aleph through the Google Sheets and Slides connections, so when an entry changes in QBO, a refresh updates the numbers instead of us rebuilding them. We replaced our old company mastersheet tool with Aleph dashboards, and we’ve built automated checks on top of the data: intercompany reconciliation, bank vs book cash, data quality flags and Clockify billing rates.

The biggest benefit is time and confidence. Month end goes to reviewing variances instead of assembling them, and we catch issues like a stale sync, a miscoded bill or an intercompany mismatch before they reach a board deck. The AI tools have also let a small finance team build and maintain far more automation than we could have built by hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
