"Airtable Scales Workflows Easily with Integrations, Automations, and AI"

What do you like best about Airtable?

Airtable has been super helpful for connecting data across platforms, managing projects, and planning global marketing campaigns that vary by region. The UI is straightforward enough that you can really maximize the database side of Airtable; however, the true value is how easily you can scale your work across systems using integrations, automations, and workflows. While designing systems and apps can be daunting, there are plenty of tutorials and videos available across the internet for builders to turn to when they need guidance. When you know exactly what your building, Airtable's AI, Omni, makes converting your ideas and prompts into apps and databases super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airtable?

Although Airtable has been helpful for my teams, Airtable’s AI, Omni, isn’t perfect, and the UX could use some improvement. I’d especially like Omni to be a bit more conversational when it’s interpreting data in my databases and responding to questions about that data. For now, I’ve found this can be mitigated by connecting an LLM to Airtable’s MCP, which lets tools like Claude pull from Airtable context and make edits within your Airtable environment. I’ve also noticed a gap between the front-end “interfaces” experience and the back-end databases: some extensions work in one but not the other, which can be confusing, and it'd be helpful to expand on the front-end views you can set up. What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Airtable, our project management workflows were scattered across multiple apps and tools. We didn’t have a single source of truth, which made it harder to keep track of all the moving pieces across different campaigns. A lot of tasks were manual, and measuring ROI as well as tracking progress toward our goals was unnecessarily complicated.

Now we have automated workflows that pull data from Salesforce into Airtable and then turn it into Slack canvases, reports, memos, and other documents. This has made it much easier to stay aligned and keep everything organized in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
