What do you like best about Airtable?

Airtable is a highly scalable data platform that can support everything from simple workflows to complex business systems. Its intuitive interface, flexible building tools and in-app AI assistance make it easy for users to get started quickly, while still providing the depth needed for more advanced applications. As AI accelerates and interfaces become increasingly user-orchestrated, the ability to capture, structure and connect data effectively is becoming a significant business advantage. Airtable makes this straightforward through extensive integration options, an accessible API and native MCP capabilities for both building applications and working directly with data. Its real strength is adaptability. Applications can evolve continuously as requirements change, rather than being constrained by a one-off system implementation. This creates ongoing value and allows organisations to respond quickly to new opportunities, processes and technologies. Solid performance coupled with this adaptability means that return on cost investment is continual and not tied to one-off implementation of 'fixed' systems. The platform is also well supported. Airtable provides extensive guidance through its support resources and developer documentation, while Airtable Academy offers structured learning and certification. An active user and developer community adds another valuable source of practical knowledge and support. The future of business systems will depend on tools that are accessible, adaptable and able to evolve alongside rapidly changing needs. Airtable is well positioned to be one of those platforms. What do you dislike about Airtable?

There’s very little to dislike about Airtable. It’s continually being updated with new features and additions - which is fantastic - but it can also mean that user-builders sometimes struggle to take full advantage of the more powerful new capabilities as they arrive. What problems is Airtable solving and how is that benefiting you?

One straightforward problem that Airtable has helped solve across many developments and implementations I’ve worked on is the easy centralisation of core business data. For any business, this brings clarity and insight grounded in reality - something that’s hard to achieve when data is disconnected and scattered. When data is more visible, operations become more visible too. Stronger data cohesion also supports better analysis, helping turn information into knowledge and, ultimately, wisdom. Time is saved when information is readily available and doesn’t need to be hunted down, and decisions can be made faster and more accurately when the full picture is accessible.
