"Incredibly Flexible Airtable Apps with Powerful AI Built Into Workflows"
5/5
What do you like best about Airtable?

Airtable’s genius is its flexibility. It lets you build applications quickly and tailor them to your processes without deep technical knowledge. If you’re comfortable with tools like Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Forms, you can get started with Airtable very quickly.

In our organization, we’ve used Airtable to automate employee onboarding, coordinate disaster relief efforts during times of crisis, compile and synthesize research to support evidence-based decisions, and manage and track assets. Today, we have more than 60 Airtable apps and bases, many of which leverage integrations such as Zapier, PDF.co, Formsite, and others.

Some of my favorite features are the flexibility to create different user interfaces for different audiences, the ability to deploy public-facing forms for easy data collection, and especially the ability to use AI at the field or cell level. That last feature is incredibly powerful because it allows AI to become part of a workflow rather than just a separate tool.

It’s difficult to calculate the total cost savings Airtable has created for us, but at a minimum, we estimate it has saved us about $50,000 per year compared with subscribing to numerous specialized applications to meet the same range of needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Airtable?

I honestly struggle to identify much that I dislike about Airtable, other than the fact that new features sometimes arrive faster than I can fully explore the ones already available.

One challenge I do encounter is returning to automations or interfaces that I built months earlier. If I have not touched them in a while, it can take some time to reacquaint myself with how everything was configured before making changes or improvements. That is probably less a limitation of Airtable and more a reminder that I need to do a better job documenting what I build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
