**What do you like best about Aha!?**

I love this platform  for its capability to collaborate and build strategy for developmental goals of the organization. This almost have all needed features building plans and making road maps for reduction of risk and improvement of productivity of the organization. I love the AI feature of this platform with capability to assist, search, filter and automate. The security of this platform is also reliable. I also love this platform for its capability to  customize workflow and workspaces. Other than this I also love this platform for its whiteboarding and brainstorming capabilities which improves co-ordination and collaboration among teams. The transition from ideas to road map is made easy with this platform. The notifications and meeting feature of this platform is also worth mentioning. I felt that that the onboarding was really easy as it could be done with a google account. The pricing in comparison with the feature is moderate.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

I love most part of this platform but I wish that more improvement is made to make the platform feel less heavy. Other than this for the user may need some training for improve efficiency in using this platform. Other than this I also wish that there was more seamless integration capability of this platform.

This platform actively assist in building strategy and preparation of roadmap. It improves collaboration among teams and improve productivity.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

The 'Get help from an expert' responds 100% of the time in 2hrs or less.  The responses provide detailed solutions, walkthroughs and or workarounds.  If more context is needed - responses provide specific details that will assist them in helping you with your issue.  They have been absolutely amazing and incredibly patient!

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

There is no way to view your portal configurations as a portal user when you are an admin.  I sometimes want to make sure I am not over-exposing information and to do so, I had to make a separate gmail account and set it up like our customer users and have to swap between to check my configurations.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aha provides a lot of tools that keep things organized and or grouped together.  Additionally, the variety of views available have given us the ability to provide our customers with their preferred view/ alternate views based on how they are utilizing the information published.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

Aha is exteremely powerful and customizable. In case the enterprise license is used, the customization possibilities and advanced features are awesome. It is possible to really tailor the product behaviour to your personal needs. Additionally, the product is rich of APIs which allow to extend the integration possibilities even more.
The integration with DevOps is extremely efficient.
Very user friendly and the different views can be tailored for the different stakeholders.
It is also extremely powerful for the part to communicate with clients: the Ideas portal is awesome.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

The planning part is lacking some possibilities to tailor the functionality to the very bit and pieces of a complex planning

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Aha I'm able to have a full overview of the state of all the products and releases.
I can customize the details based on my specific workflows and needs, and I can make a fluent communication with my customers.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

We’ve been using Aha! for several years now, and it has been extremely helpful for our teams when it comes to triaging ideas and building customer-facing roadmaps. I’m especially impressed with their Support team. Brittany Rhoney, in particular, provided exemplary service to me and my team.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

At times, there are some configuration limitations in the customer-facing UI. For example, we’ve run into constraints when trying to change where the submission form appears or when rearranging required fields into different locations, although our setup is for an extremely specific use case. Overall, it gets the job done and helps us organize thousands of submissions effectively.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We receive thousands of submissions for a very complex product, and this makes it much easier to triage ideas and slice-and-dice the reporting.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

The concepts are presented very clearly, with no ambiguity about what each element represents—a feature is distinctly a feature, a requirement is unmistakably a requirement, and so on. Product management within the tool is straightforward and intuitive right from the start, yet it also offers the flexibility to explore more advanced features as needed. This tool was obviously designed with the entire software development lifecycle in mind, rather than simply being an overblown bug tracking system like some other well-known options.

On the few occasions I have need help with the tool the Customer Support has been stellar in their knowledge/understanding and response times.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

you should be able to track a bug as a bug, tied to a specific feature.  Creating a bug as a new feature and linking it back to the original feature loses something in the process and makes it difficult to see how teams/users are doing.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We rely on Aha throughout our entire software development lifecycle, starting from the initial product concept and business case, through defining features, and all the way to assigning and implementing developer tasks.  We replaced Jira with it and have very happily never looked back

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

I appreciate Aha! for providing a visual roadmap that helps everyone understand the priorities easily. I like that all requirements, dependencies, and goals are in one place. It is beneficial that our stakeholders can enter and manage their ideas, turning them into actionable items. Aha! gives me a high-level view of what's coming in each release, allowing me to quickly see timelines, priorities, and dependencies all in one spot, which helps me plan to complete my documentation work early. It saves me from having to chase PMs or engineers for clarification. The initial setup of Aha! was easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

Custom dashboard and report take more time. More different type templates would save time. When handling a big portfolio it takes time for loading. Speed up loading for the dashboard with large datasets.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aha! helps us track roadmaps and release plans, link feature dependencies, and keep everything on the same platform for easy access. It also provides a visual roadmap to understand priorities, which helps in planning and completing documentation early without chasing team members.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

I like that Aha! is highly customizable and allows me to enter the data I need to keep track of my projects. The automation engine in Aha! is really helpful for keeping everybody informed, especially our stakeholders. Additionally, I found the initial setup to be not complicated at all. Overall, it's a very good product for project management and product management, as it helps in publishing roadmaps, sharing ideas, receiving them from our clients, and organizing the work to be done in a support company.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

Well, the fact that some custom field types, like notes, cannot be used in automation is a drawback. Basically, what I mentioned about the notes is the only field I have that is multiline, and I can enter formatted text. But I cannot use it in automation, which is an issue for me.

I use Aha! to customize forms and track project data, keeping stakeholders informed with its automation engine.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

Jack’s presentation was outstanding — easily one of the best product demos I’ve ever seen. It immediately made me want to start working with the software. Aha! Roadmaps is highly versatile, offering a broad range of features. The structured approach helps deliver organized, professional results, which I find extremely valuable.

Our main contact person was always quick to respond, and the documentation is excellent. Implementing the software isn’t trivial, especially when setting up integrations, but everything is clearly described — as long as you take the time to read it thoroughly. The overall organization of the platform is impressive.

I also really appreciate the webinars and the Customer Success Team that supports users during implementation. This service is included with an annual plan, which is a great benefit and a reason why we directly booked the yearly package. The software helps companies reach a more professional level, but it also requires adapting to new workflows and organizational methods. Having experienced people guide you through that process makes a big difference — and Aha! does this well.

In terms of integrations, we’ve successfully connected Aha! Roadmaps with Microsoft Azure DevOps, which worked smoothly. We also use Microsoft Teams and plan to add Salesforce in the future. The flexibility is excellent; almost everything can be configured to fit specific needs. I’m still in the early stages of exploring all the capabilities, but it’s clear that the potential is significant.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

The software can feel overwhelming at first. There are so many features that it takes time to get familiar with everything. In the menu navigation, I often find myself clicking back and forth trying to locate what I need. This might be due to Aha!’s terminology being different from ours, or because I’m still adjusting to its workflows. I often end up misclicking simply because I’m searching for something in the wrong place.

The integration setup — for example with Microsoft Azure DevOps — is well-documented but very detailed. There are many manual steps, and if you miss even a single line in the instructions, the setup won’t work. You have to be extremely careful and follow every step precisely, which can be time-consuming.

I would also like to complete the Aha! Roadmaps certification, but the price is quite steep — around $2,300 as of October 2025. That’s too high for a software training program, even one that includes certification. I can already see the challenge ahead of me in asking my boss for this amount of money. 

It would also be nice if more best practices or implementation guidance from the Customer Success Team were built directly into the software itself. Some in-app guidance or interactive onboarding would make the learning curve easier. But overall, this is a minor issue — the support team does a great job.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

What I like best about Aha! is its flexibility and how it can be modeled to support the complex operating models of a large organization. For example, we needed to design a sophisticated, hybrid integration that connects our high-level strategic Releases in Aha! to our engineering teams' granular Fix Versions in Jira. Aha! provided the tools and configurability to achieve this.

Additionally, the customer support experience has been great. When we were blocked on a very technical integration issue, the support team provided in-depth documentation that helped us understand the intricacies of the product and solve the problem ourselves. A special shoutout to the support team for being so knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

While the platform is powerful for high-level strategy, there are a few basic, quality-of-life features missing that create friction in the day-to-day workflow.

The two most notable examples for our team are the inability to tag colleagues directly in notes or comments for quick collaboration, and the limited table sorting and filtering capabilities. This often forces us to export data to Excel for simple analysis, which feels like an unnecessary step.

We have raised these as feature requests, and we understand the team has a long list of priorities. However, these foundational improvements would significantly enhance the daily user experience.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Aha! is solving for us is closing the gap between our high-level business strategy and what the engineering team is actually building day-to-day. It's really helping us connect the strategy to the actual execution.

For example, with the Jira integration we're setting up, an engineer can be working on an Epic in Jira and see a direct link back to the high-level business Initiative it's for. It just helps everyone understand the "why" behind their work, which is a huge benefit.

It's also been great for improving how we work. The process of setting up the tool has forced us to define our own internal processes better, which means less churn and more focus on the product itself. On top of that, things like the Ideas Portal are giving us a way to bring all our different customer touchpoints into one place, helping us work as a more empowered team to solve the right problems.

I find Aha! to be a great tool that fits our enterprise roadmap needs well with strong features and customization. I like how flexible it is, letting us tailor information for different interest holders. The data model is something I do like because it allows me to group work effectively and link it to goals and initiatives. The integration option is a big plus because it provides a real view of work status. As a new user, it seems user-friendly, making it easier to adopt and the initial setup was easy. I appreciate the roadmap options and flexibility, and I value the ability to connect work with goals, initiatives, and releases, which helps link work to strategy.

Some additional flexibility in how releases link to initiatives - though this might be possible, I'm a new user and still learning. The workspace setup and how it rolls up was a little difficult to follow but otherwise good.

I use Aha! Enterprise + Ideas as a product manager, and I love that it allows me to have clarity on the product roadmap and easily communicate it to stakeholders. We utilize Aha Roadmaps, which is such a great tool for keeping track of work across teams. Customer Service is excellent too: any questions I can't answer from the support documents online by myself, I send to customer support and always get a rapid, helpful response.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

Sometimes I wish the reporting capabilities could be a little more robust, especially the visual charts when building out a dashboard. It would also be super helpful when building Automation rules to have options to set a date before another date, rather than only options to set a date after another date.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aha Roadmaps helps teams track work within their own team and workspace, and helps product managers in charge of cross-functional teams also track the work they need to see in reports and dashboards.

Aha! is highly customizable and has been an amazing tool to replace our previously generated excel Gantt. Their customer service goes above and beyond to provide support in a timely manner and in the rare instance an issue is found it is rectified almost immediately.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

Some areas in the Gantt are less intuitive than expected. Example - you cannot easily expand/collapse all schedules on the Gantt, instead you must create a separate view for Expanded/Collapsed. This can lead to manual effort for a large portfolio.

Aha! is used throughout our company for different purposes, the primary use case of my involvement is overall portfolio management and providing stakeholders with up to date information on their projects.

Combination of the features and incredible customer service.   The features also provide a high level of customization to allow the products to conform to your workflows.

There is a bit of a learning curve but the documentation and customer services helps overcome those challenges

We previously were using several applications for product management and documentation.  Working in multiple products that lack integrations creates a challenging environment for effective development.  We also often found ourselves not documenting features and updates as much as we should, and this led to challenging support and client issues.  With Aha, everything is in one place, with data shared across modules.  This makes it so easy to follow a feature across the lifecycle, from idea all the way through release shipment and documentation.  Aha also provides a great "best practice" framework in their design that we are operating as a better product team just by following their steps.  We've seen productivity and product knowledge increase across our teams as a result.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

Aha!'s Roadmaps, Ideas, and Discover portals really help to tie together the whole product cycle from ideation through deployment. It's convenient to have everything in one place with the ability to drill down from something on the roadmap to trace back what factors went into prioritizing that item over others. "Ideas" has good brainstorming tools like Whiteboards and Prioritization. It keeps track of history on the Idea record, so if that Idea ends up being chosen and scheduled into the Roadmap, you can always go back in and see if people voted for it, commented on it, and what other items or artifacts within Aha! it relates to. There are several different view options, so the Roadmap can be presented in the fashion that best fits your audience. The web link sharing option is helpful so that people without Aha! access can have an up-to-date view of the Roadmap accessible at any time.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

There are many configurable templates and settings, which allows a high degree of customizability, but that complexity also leads to much clicking around to find all of the settings and configurations, especially when first learning the tool. Their support is readily available via chat or email or scheduling a call, and they were able to assist quickly and effectively each time we had a question.

We need to keep everything related to each initiative together so that we can easily trace back to the problem it aims to solve, the goals, and supporting data.

I appreciate how Aha! has streamlined and centralized our tracking of roadmaps, which allows us to effectively and quickly build and share reports with executive-level team members and our board. Having the ability to create various reports has been incredibly helpful in ensuring our data remains accurate. I am also excited about the ideas portal we recently rolled out; it promises to provide valuable insights and is beginning to gain significant use. The ease of getting started with Aha! and its intuitive out-of-the-box setup make it effortless to jump right in, collect data, and organize information swiftly. Moreover, the integration with other tools, like Azure and Jira, supports our workflow efficiently. These features significantly contribute to the overall user experience, making Aha! an invaluable tool for managing our multiple product offerings.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

There are some limitations to reporting in Aha!, particularly with pivot reports. I cannot view some data as a percentage, and it feels like sorting isn't functioning correctly, even after selecting the option. This reflects minor functionality issues that seem to either not work correctly or have not been developed yet.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

It provides a central ecosystem to help product teams stay focused on the mountain of details orbiting a product. It's breadth of features is huge. Chances are if it benefits a product teams, Aha has a feature for it.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

I think the phrase "jack of all trades and master of none" fits with Aha. Most of the components of Aha are "good enough". The project management features aren't as good as Asana, or the whiteboarding features aren't as good as Miro.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Product details were spread out everywhere, Sharepoint, individual files, Teams channels, emails, etc. Aha becomes the central repo for everything and that brings clarity and momentum into the product lifecycle.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

I love how everything is connected, even the presentations. I am still getting everything moved into Aha!, but I love that I can auto-update my presentations with the most recent data in the same portal I use to track everything. Before Aha!, I tracked everything on several spreadsheets, a Hubspot ticketing system, email, and powerpoint. I found that I was spending way too much time just trying to keep everything up to date, and things would slip through the cracks. Now, I have one spot to manage everything, and everything is intertwined. Aha! Roadmaps has become a huge part of how we manage our product strategy and execution. It offers a huge range of features that we use in our everyday processes, road mapping, reporting, and integrations specifically. We're frequently discovering new ways to improve our daily processes by using more of what this product offers.

The Ideas Portal has been especially impactful. It allows us to collect and prioritize customer feedback, which we can easily convert into roadmap items. This has led to tangible improvements in our software and helped us stay aligned with what our users actually need and want.

Integrations with Azure DevOps keep our engineering team connected, and the ability to customize fields and workflows has helped us standardize across teams. The tools in Aha! make our strategy actionable by linking our product vision, customer insights, and goals directly to the work our teams are doing. This way we can work towards ensuring that every feature we build supports a clear, strategic purpose.

Support is excellent, and the platform continues to evolve. We're able to try out new features and can always lean on customer support to help enhance our use of these new enhancements or the existing features we've already implemented. The Aha! customer support team is always quick to respond and knowledgeable and thoughtful in their responses.

I have been using Aha! for around 10 years within different organisations. Having just moved companies I decided to check out the competition and having looked at other solutions decided to implement Aha! as it still remains in my view the must have solution.
Getting up and running was simple, adding the product strategies integrating with Jira and ingesting the existing product development plans.
What i really like is the new advanced Knowledge Base capability - enabling us to develop and customer facing document portal in a couple of days.

Although Aha! has done a great job of starting to incorporate AI into the product set, it could do more to improve how you can perform key actions such as competitor analysis - automating the tracking of competitors and helping to propose product actions to compete better

It offers holistic view across whole company from larger initiatives, goals, epics down to low-level tasks. It can be difficult to set up and connect with other develop tools like Azure Devops. However, we do have multiple workspaces which makes our particular set up a little more involved.

Prior to Aha, our Product team was managing different attributes of the Product process in disparate programs and systems. It is so easy to create any roadmap I need across multiple products in our company!  If I'm asked to give a "different" view of a roadmap for a meeting tomorrow, I'm no longer terrified :).  The ability to create dynamic roadmaps has saved me a huge amount of time over the old way of storing product specific roadmaps in PPT files.  I use Aha every day to keep myselef organized across products and if I'm ever stuck, I know I can depend on customer support to answer my questions quickly and with valuable information.

I have to add that I love how Idea management works, and how easy it is to promote ideas to work-items in roadmaps and keep all the records connected.  We also have an easy integration with Jira, that meant we could easily implement Aha on top of our existing development process without impacting those teams too much.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

I would have to be really nit-picky to find something I don't like about Aha.  If there is anything, it is just that the product has gotten so mature that there are a lot of settings and it takes some time to learn.  That is true of most mature platforms, so it's hard to complain about it!

Aha saves our dozens of product managers time every singel day in helping us create and present roadmaps as well as manage feedback from customers.  I would say we are more productive by at least an hour per day... and that really adds up!

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

AHA is a great tool for product planning and idea management. Compared to competitors like productboard and craft.io, it is definitely more feature-rich, more customizable, and more enterprise ready. 

We use AHA to plan across different levels of the organization and it is great with that, including managing OKRs and strategic initiatives. The tool is really flexible with a lot of templates, reporting, and customization options. With more and more integrations (eg recently whiteboards and Jira), the tool is becoming more and more embedded in our processes.

With that, AHA is revolutionizing our quarterly planning processes. About 20% of our PMs use the tool daily, 30% weekly, and the rest about monthly.

A true value is the support model. Both the support team and the concierge service are really making sure we get the mot out of the tool.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

AHA contributor licenses are quite expensive. While a lot can also be done with the free seats (reviewer license), we find that the access management is not quite as refined for different roles. We would be able to get more value out of the tool if UX and engineering leads would also be able to work more extensively with epics, including non-functional requirements on the engineering side. But that is quite limited as per the licensing of AHA.

Usability is an issue. The tool is quite feature rich and customizable. But with a lot of dropdown navigations, it is often not easy for the user to know where they are in the navigation (eg jumping from initiatives to reports/roadmaps with a dropdown, or having to navigate across the tree of org hierarchy). There are also a lot of similar / redundant features such as the many different roadmap views, which take some getting used to to identify which one is preferred when.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

We particularly like the Ideas Portal feature of Aha. This allows our users to log "ideas" which get reviewed each month and turned into "Features" if the idea is deemed acceptable by our business stakeholders. Once a feature is created, Aha has great prioritzation features that allow us to assign a "Product Value". It is then a simple case of taking the most valued features and putting them into the next sprint. When working on the sprint, the Gaant chart is very useful in visualising the current sprint and our progress within. I would recommend Aha as a product to anyone who wants to get more input from their stakeholders whilst not really adding any additional admin time.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

No major issues found with the product, but we are relatively light users of it.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

Aha! is a very easy to use platform that we were able to customize and shape to fit our workflows and business. When we had questions or needed help, the Aha! support team was extremely responsive and provided email based help but also offered live support if needed. The setup and administration of the platform was easy helping us get to work faster and with greater productivity. The ability to add "no charge" users let us bring in contributors to our projects without incurring additional, expensive licensing fees.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

The per user licensing costs are a little high as compared with other tools on the market. Even with the ability to add free users for limited functionality, we found the cost of Aha to be higher than other tools on the market.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aha! lets us collaborate on products and solution development. It gives us a consolidated view into roadmaps and progress for team management and operations.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

The product lays out roadmaps and related information in an intuitive way.  The pivot tables, list features and other reports are powerful and flexible so you can manage as you need.    Good modeling of ideas (with a portal) through to release with initiatives and releases all tied to strategic goals. Excellent conceptual design, good execution in a reliable cloud application.

The product support is built into the application so you can message them.  They respond within a few hours with an expert. They have never failed to resolve my issue with the first person who contacts me back.  I have also used their support for advice on how to get the most from the product.   I've been in the tech industry working for vendors for 40 years and I cannot think of a better support response than I get from Aha. They are the best.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

The integration with ticketing tools like Jira (and many others) exists and does work, but it is not easy to adjust workflows to drive from Aha down into the ticketing system if you have not started with Aha.   This is not a direct problem with Aha, but it is a challenge.  Aha also now offers more development tools for ticketing and related flows, but they are not popular with development shops I know of.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a bridge between our lower level developments tasks -which are detailed and technical - and reporting up to our executive sponsors.  It is not trapped in the Product Owner view of Product Management; it is designed for a full throated Product Management program that ties high level business goals explicitly to lower level tasks.

JIRA integration is very easy to set up.   
Layout templates are easy to manage.
AI capability in documentation - this has been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

Support tool - there is none.  I have to do everything via email.  It is very difficult to track issues - you don't even give a ticket number to track.   When I have to look for past information, I have to search my emails.  Other vendors I work with have a cloud support tool so I can easily find my tickets and track.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have over 100 products in you organization.  Aha is allowing us to have standard roadmap reporting across all products.

**What do you like best about Aha!?**

I really enjoyed having one person who managed my whole experience from 1st contact, virtual meetings, and the casual list of questions. Their support was always responsive, and helpful, and they had great pacing in the sales process. We even went over our trial period and they extended it easily. Then when it came time to pay, it felt like they just had to "flip a switch" and our account was live - implementation was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Aha!?**

I think the software is a little confusing at first because you have to understand their hierarchy of information. But once we talked through that in a 30min meeting, I was able to move fast and learn the product well enough to sell it to my team.

**What problems is Aha! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a more organized way to track our product feedback and a more unique way on how to publize that information to our audience. At the same time we had to be able to display the information in a more tailored way and still see how our team is moving along the feature requests.
