The Affirm team is riddled with incompetence. Glitches on their end caused their system to cancel a customer's order automatically, yet it was still showing active on my customer's account. After the refund was processed, the customer was still turned off by the experience and did not return to place another order. This glitch cost my company hundreds of dollars in potential profit. It took almost an entire month of numerous emails before Affirm identified the problem in their system. They then placed a test transaction to verify things were working correctly. Months later, they charged me a fee on the transaction their system glitch canceled, as well as the test transaction their employee placed. After three more weeks of back and forth emails, I finally got them to admit they inappropriately withheld the fees from those two transactions and got that money back. I also found out that they had been updating/changing the terms of the merchant agreement without notifying my company, and they repeatedly ignored my request to provide copies of the original policies. Affirm steadfastly refuses to talk to their merchant partners by telephone, which would have likely resolved our disputes in a much more efficient and timely manner. I can not truly convey my level of dissatisfaction with Affirm and its horrible customer service.
