What do you like best about ADP TotalSource?

Transitioning to ADP TotalSource has been one of the best decisions we’ve made to simplify and strengthen our HR operations. By taking on the heavy administrative work—payroll, onboarding, compliance, and many of the manual day-to-day tasks—ADP TotalSource has allowed us to shift our focus to what really matters: engaging with our employees and supporting their growth.

With less time spent on administrative burdens, our team can devote energy to performance reviews, employee development, and creating a workplace culture that inspires and retains talent. ADP ensures that onboarding and payroll are accurate and seamless, which builds trust and sets a positive tone for every employee experience.

This year’s migration was my third time moving a company to ADP TotalSource, and each time the process has been consistently smooth and professional. Their expertise and support make the transition easy and stress-free, which is no small feat when dealing with complex HR systems. Each implementation has reinforced my confidence in their service.

In short, ADP TotalSource delivers on its promise: freeing HR and leadership teams to concentrate on people and culture, not paperwork. It has truly been a joy to work with them, and I highly recommend ADP TotalSource to any organization looking to modernize HR and empower its people.

What do you dislike about ADP TotalSource?

I really love ADP TotalSource and overall have had a great experience with it. One thing I would love to see improved is the ability to add contractors and other employees who are not on ADP payroll. Other PEOs allow you to do this, and it would be great to have all of our employee and contractor data in one place instead of having to track it separately.

The other area that could use some improvement is the response time when there are tax issues. Sometimes it can take a long time to get a response or get an issue resolved. Tax issues are usually time sensitive, so having a way to get those addressed more quickly would be really helpful. Overall, I really do love TotalSource. Beyond the time savings, ADP TotalSource has delivered significant financial benefits. By streamlining HR processes and handling tasks that would otherwise require hours of employee time, we’ve saved countless work hours—and therefore reduced payroll costs. Their expertise in insurance and tax management has also helped us lower premiums, cut certain taxes, and avoid filing fees and penalties. For a small company like ours, these efficiencies translate into meaningful cost savings, making ADP TotalSource not only a productivity booster but also a truly cost-effective HR solution.
