"Adobe RoboHelp - Good HAT"

What do you like best about Adobe RoboHelp?

RH is simple to create projects from the main content you drafted in Rich Text Format, usually in MS Word, that can go for print manuals as well. This is the concept called Single Source, used for various throughputs while remaining in a single work environment. The “edit once and publish multiples” is truly valid for RH HAT. Of course, over time, RH stepped further to accommodate the Frame Maker as a compatible editor for help authoring. This is the time the majority of the help authoring community looked at RH as a preferred tool. I witnessed several organizations having RH as one of the recommended software at the top of their standard tools list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe RoboHelp?

Seldom do project synchronization causes sharing limitations when the project content is shared through SharePoint. Can be made possible to integrate the rendering into the common space of collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Adobe RoboHelp:

Good to have an easy to switch mode from Editor to output format view, so authoring ease for a writer to manage the bits in output right from WYSWYG editor window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe RoboHelp solving and how is that benefiting you?

There are no issues as such when taken in the basket of "problems".

Moving forward, RH even before Adobe acquired, on constant revisions to match the market requirements, especially in the technology front. The enhancements are focused to make the Help System platform compatible with advanced platforms and technology in software development. The Server-based versions, for example, arrived in 2016 is a networked version was developed to comply CMS (Content Management System) requirements and the ability to deploy the help systems on a network. RH not only comply with the parallel technology requirements, say XML, but also the compatible in devices, such as mobile apps and support the OS like MAC. I am sure whatsoever evolutions in IT arise on the way, the RH will maintain its compatibility to hand-in-hand when we look for the best HAT. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
