## Adobe Media Encoder Reviews
 ### 1. Quick, Easy Conversion for Large Video Files

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew D. | EPA Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Being able to convert extremely large video files to smaller file types to be allowed to upload to awarding bodies with file size limits quickly and easily.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The file type selection did not always reflect the correct file type required, for example converting to MPEG4 for changes to 3gp when you may think it should change to a standard mp4. (which awarding bodies may reject).

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to upload apprentices work to online platforms that required video evidence. Often files can be 2 or 3 GB in size, with a file size limit of 300mb. Media Encoder allows me to convert the file to a file type that can be uploaded, granted at loss quality, but still viewable and assessable. While holding the original for review.

The price is very accessible with the Creative Cloud suite.

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean M. | User Interface Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I like how seamlessly it integrates with Adobe After Effects. It is critical to maintaining manageable file sizes when exporting, and cuts out a LOT of the mental gymnastics of understanding every in and out of video processing.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The least helpful thing is that it is a separate platform than other Adobe video-related products. If you don't have a subscription to the full suite of tools, then you have order ala carte and it can get expensive.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making file sizes smaller, making work faster, making life easier.

 ### 9. Adobe Media Encore is the best, but...

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Whenever there is an update of my gpu it always gives me problems because I must have the newest version and sometimes I am not aware and I urgently need to export a video made in after effects, and I have problems with it.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

quickly manage the export of my videos and that's a plus.

 ### 10. Still a Top Contender

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben S. | Sr. Video Editor & Director, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Includes a wide range of industry standard encoding options for professional use particularly ProRes and Avid DNX codecs. The interface is particularly good with a concise layout that's fairly easy to understand especially compared to some of the other options in the space.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The app's load time can be sluggish depending on how your organization has its network built out. Media Encoder exports out of After Effects can also take a while to load into the software compared to exporting directly.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our agency receives requests for all manner of video codec for simple platforms like YouTube & FB to more complex codec requirements for embedded website videos, OTT, and broadcast specs for over the air and cable commercial spots. Adobe Media Encoder is more than up to the task in helping us deliver video content that meets strict requirements.

 ### 11. Accessible video formats made easier by Adobe Media Encoder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vhinny M. | Creative Designer & Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Video processing and editing is a tedious process. Ever since I discovered Adobe Media Encoder, I no longer worry about having my video in different formats according to what I need. It made my design and editing process time-efficient and convenient.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Adobe Media Encoder may need to be reviewed especially if you're not familiar with editing tool interfaces. It took me a few tutorials and practices to get a hold of what I could do with the tool. Other than that, it has been a smooth experience and I could not ask for a more supporting tool for my video editing needs!

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It made video hosting convenient and easy for me. A common problem I used to encounter every now and then is to have copies of my video files ready in different file formats to be available on different devices and platforms. Media Encoder made it easily possible for me to solve that problem without having to subscribe to free tools online. Other than that, it gave me a quick solution to compressing my video files whenever I needed it, in just minutes!

 ### 12. My experience with Adobe Media Encoder

 ### 13. Probably the most versatile encoder out there!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navin R. | Director / Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Adobe Media Encoder has been my go-to encoder for over a decade now and it's versatility handling various file formats and the integration with Premiere Pro is absolutely stellar! On top of that, it takes advantage of the GPU cores in my M1 Pro Macbook which speeds up my entire workflow.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I can't really think of anything I dislike except perhaps the fact that all my custom settings need to be re-created after an update.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Media Encoder allows me to transcode multiple file formats, and is my main software to encode files for intermediate and final delivery - anywhere from proxy files to broadcast and theatrical outputs.

 ### 14. Renders my videos from After Effects and Premiere Pro

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan L. | Integrated Designer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Getting Media Encoder to render a few videos from AE or Premiere is simple. I usually cue up my videos, add my presets and render. The render engine works as it should and I like that.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

When there are errors with renders, I sometimes would like to know what the actual reason is, you'll have to view logs for that, instead of just displaying it as a popup

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Media Encoder is the better renderer even though AE and Premiere can render in App, it's best to use a dedicated app for rendering.

 ### 15. Quick, easy, gets the job done

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew L. | Freelance Creative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Once I have my specs and export locations set, exporting seamless. I much prefer using this over exporting from another adobe app.

I love how seamlessly I can hop from Premiere to Encoder simply by selecting to export with it.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

There isn't much guidance provided about specs to select. With advancements in AI, it would be awesome if Encoder could suggest the best specs / settings when exporting for your case.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Media Encoder allows me to export video edits properly, save them in the right place, and do this at scale.

 ### 16. MUST HAVE APP for all of your video exporting needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelli M J. | Digital Media Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Media Encoder makes exporting videos easy. I can export one video through Encoder while editing another video in Premiere Pro. With an updated computer, Media Encoder will export your videos quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I have very little to discuss on the dislike section. The only issue I have run into on occasion is videos not exporting properly and sound results in a syncing error. Sometimes Adobe's updates run into compatibility issues with updates on my Mac, but those generally get fixed in no time. It's still exponentially faster to export through Encoder than through Premiere Pro or After Effects.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Media Encoder:**

If you're looking to save time on encoding and exporting video, time that you desperately need to work on that other project that's been on the back burner all day, go with Media Encoder. It'll give you that time you need to work on other projects while it writes and exports your media.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Media Encoder takes all of my exporting problems and channels it into a couple of easy buttons. This app allows me to focus on creating quality videos instead of trying to figure out how to make video MP4 capable for a standard widescreen TV, social media platforms, etc. It allows for me to also quickly choose exporting settings optimized for YouTube uploads and social media uploads in both 16x9, 1x1, and 9x16 formats.

 ### 17. Encoder is multifaceted software. Use inside Adobe products or as a standalone encoder. The Best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randy M. | Safety Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

You can use Adobe Media Encoder to convert your audiovisual files to any format (that is currently supported by the Adobe Creative Cloud suite). This is just one of the many reasons why I continue to subscribe monthly to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Additionally, if you work in robust programs such as Premiere Pro and After Effects, the Adobe Media Encoder is built directly into the programs. So if you want to see how a finished section of your timeline will look, you can set in and out points and render out your clip. This way you can watch it on the big screen to make sure everything is perfect.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I honestly do not have anything negative to say about the Adobe Media Encoder. An additional free benefit with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite is many of these software programs are included in your membership. Not to mention any time there is a software update, you can update when you want. You are not handcuffed by those "automatic updates." You get to pick when and if you want to install the updates. Plus Adobe tells you what is included in the update. Furthermore, Adobe also releases beta test versions so you can play around to see how the new features will work. Also, Adobe wants to hear from their users to report any bugs or fixes they think of.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an all-in-one package. You can open the program by itself, or use the amazing tools in programs such as Premiere Pro and After Effects. The Media Encoder quickly speeds up your workflow. If you want to render out a portion of your video all you do is set "in" and "out" points, and export that individual clip. If you want to see how a drone video clip will look after you have sped up the clip? Great, create your "in" and "out" points, pick which preset you want to use (SOOOO MANY different video types), and click render. The render pop-up box will tell you roughly how long it will take to render the clip. This way you can work on other things while the Media Encoder does the rest.

 ### 18. After years of a great professional interface Adobe, its now a clunky consumerish interface.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc F. | Contributing Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Does the job, but with hiccups. It works great on smaller projects, and batch conversions.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The last major update re did the interface. Now instead of a simple interface showing everyhting you needed at once, everything is in a drop down menu, and sometimes you need to go into a drop down menu within a previous dropdown menu. It used to have such a cliean eafy to follow interface, but someone ruined it. Some long renders (progects over over 20 minutes) will have it hang for over an hourwhen the progress bar is at its done. Sometimes pausing and restarting the ender will make it finish, othertimes you ned to restart the project. Its not as efficient as it uesed to be

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Renders most of the files in formats that clients need.

 ### 19. Time Saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hemal B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Export multiple files at the same time. As a video editor and content creator, I have to use Adobe Premiere Pro continuously and also want to export files. Media Encoder is one of my favorite pieces of software where I can perform multiple exports while editing videos.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

So far, everything is perfect. Adobe Media Encoder saved my time and Energy a lot.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automatically Exporting Multiple Files: While exporting in Adobe Premiere Pro, I sometimes encounter errors, but Adobe Media Encoder resolves them automatically and offers faster export speeds.

 ### 20. Great software to export with a variety of codec.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annon D. | Full-stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

This software enables me to render videos from Adobe Premiere Pro with just a click. It also has a number of video codecs which is very useful when you've a client who wants so many different quality videos of various sizes.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I don't like the fact that Adobe Media Encoder crashes every now and then which is very annoying when you've a lot on your table. Even after reporting it to Adobe so many times, they just don't wanna fix the issue.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves a lot of time when you've to render a file from Adobe After Effects which usually takes a lot of time if not for Adobe Media Encoder.

 ### 21. Everything you need for exporting!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avery C. | Marketing Director, Architecture & Planning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I love that all in one program you can export to so many different formats with every possible setting. Media Encoder works so seamlessly with other Adobe products.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

There's not much to dislike about Adobe Media Encoder. The interface is easy to use and understand. If there was anything I would change, I would like to see it be made more obvious how you can restart or redo an item from the queue.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Media Encoder makes it so simple to export to any format you might need, and comes ready to handle any nuances in settings for your exported file. The program makes it easy to export to any filetype you might need for a myriad of uses so that your file always looks the best for it's purpose.

 ### 22. Great tool to convert media files quickly & easily

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I appreciate that media encoder is part of the adobe suite, so you can easily send video files from premiere to be exported directly into ME. You can also upload media that you'd like to export into a different format (ie, .mov to .mp4), which is super helpful for adjusting social media content.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I would say I'm a basic user of media encoder, that being said, some of the features are not intuitive for me and perhaps other lite users. However I appreciate that if I were doing something more complex, media encoder would (probably) have it all.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe media encoder helps me convert video files into the correct format(s) for social media posts. It also allows me to export edited case study/ customer testimonial videos from premiere with ease and in the correct format for sharing online.

 ### 23. Media Encoder is a Project Saver!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel D. | General Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The ability to adjust every imaginable parameter of a file to create output for various clients and platforms is priceless.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

There's not much to dislike. The program is somewhat intuitive, allows preferred settings and more.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Media Encoder makes it easy to repurpose a single file for multiple platforms and retain the highest possible resolution for each.

 ### 24. It is THE video exporter/converter

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geoffrey H. | Owner/Operator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Media encoder shines most when used with other Adobe apps to queue video exports, but my favorite part is that you can drag videos right in and convert them however you need. It's extremely convenient and has always been a solid, stable tool for my workflows.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

There are some video formats/codecs that media encoder won't take, which requires me to convert it through VLC, which is also a handy tool but nowhere near as intuitive as Media Encoder.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Media encoder converts video formats for me, which is very helpful as some programs prefer specific codecs, and it lets me queue and export videos without stopping my editing flow.

 ### 25. A great way to batch export all the projects out of the Adobe software line.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brannon C. | Senior Video Editor & Cinematographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I really appreciate the fact that I can send all my After Effects and Premiere projects to the Media Encoder and batch render them all from one software. It saves so much time in the exporting process.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The UI is not user friendly, as is the case with a lot of Adobe software. It could be cleaned up and simplified.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When we are finished with edits for clients in Premiere and VFX in After Effects, we always batch them out to Media Encoder and can batch render them all from there. This saves us so much time, instead of closing out each software and jumping back and forth between them.

 ### 26. Quick once you are set, but finding just the right settings can be tricky.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas H. | Producer/Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The best thing about media encoder is how easily it is integrated into thother adobe products. being able to export through ME directly from AE or PP is great.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Finding just the right settings can be tricky. There are many presets to choose from... maybe too many... trying to find the perfect mix of small file size and great quality can be time consuming, but once you have it, you just crank out the videos.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It can crunch the numbers and output video files in the background while I keep working in AE or PP. I used to have to stop production to render final videos out.

 ### 27. awesome tool for exproting the required filetypes, or converting filetypes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I like the integration with other Adobe apps. For example, if I need a certain video filetype that After Effects or Premiere cannot export, I can still export the project from those software via Media Encoder. This saves me exporting, and then converting.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

There are still some file formats that it cannot handle. For exampkle, I was recently downsaving an MKV file, and I had to use handbrake to do that. It would be great if Media Encoder could replace the need for all other encoder programs.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps me to export various filetypes from Adobe video software. It can also be useful for converting existing videos to other types. For example, MP4 to GIF, or vice versa.

 ### 28. Super easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alessio T. | Digital Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I like the ease of use and the strong interaction with all the other Adobe software that indirectly concerns it (After Effects, Premiere...). They work perfectly together. The interface is very intuitive and well designed.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Sometimes the program will crash if there are too many videos exporting at the same time (or they are very large files). However, it almost never happens, fortunately.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Media Encoder exports all my video files from the Adobe software I use for video creation such as After Effects and Premiere. It does it quickly and easily.

 ### 29. Adobe Media Encoder Very Effective

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I like the fact that it is tightly integrated with the Adobe suite of products.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

It is not as specialized as one of the competing products like Apple's compressor.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

It is a great to tool to have. With with you can render or convert -from and to - almost any kind of video/audio. And also it allows me to keep working with After Effects, while Media Encoder is doing the rendering of the videos.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I dislike the fact that you have no control over the audio levels.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a reliable rendering software, for all needs.

 ### 31. Streamline Your Video Workflow with Adobe Media Encoder

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anshul S. | Video Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Adobe Media Encoder allows for efficient and seamless encoding of various video formats with customizable presets, saving time and ensuring high-quality output. Its integration with other Adobe Creative Cloud applications also makes it a convenient tool for video professionals like me

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Media Encoder can be resource-intensive and may experience performance issues when handling large or complex projects. Additionally, the learning curve can be steep for beginners, with a variety of advanced features and settings that may be overwhelming.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Media Encoder solves the problem of efficiently encoding and transcoding video files into various formats and presets, while maintaining high quality output. It simplifies and streamlines the video workflow, allowing for faster and easier delivery of video content across multiple platforms and devices

 ### 32. (100% justified) the standard in video optimization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Independent queue from Premiere or After Effects. Easy for begginers with low expectations, but powerful for the expert.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Fine tuning can be tricky. Trial and error can be time consuming.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Video compression for streaming from a pendrive or a streaming server.

 ### 33. Annoyingly buggy experience, always fails when you least expect it.

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan T. | Head of Product and Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The preset options for the most common use cases make Media Encode overall quite useful. The ability to set custom profiles is also very useful when you need to render many projects to the same specification.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

When you launch it to render it takes ages to load, you then have to wait a lot more for the encoding job to load into the app. This is on a Macbook Pro M1 Max, so not a slow machine. Media Encoder often fails to connect to the dynamic link server where it gets the metadata for the presets. You click the encoding options and it gets stuck in infinite loading. Why does it have to contact the server on every launch? If it can't contact the server, why can't it let me use the existing settings?

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Media Encoder offers the basic parameters for encoding required for most day-to-day tasks (ads, YouTube videos, social media posts), and does it all relatively quickly when it's not having issues.

 ### 34. Converts any video format to any video format

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan F. | Marketing Manager and IT Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

No matter the input, bitrate, or format - Adobe Media Encoder supports it. Super easy interface, fast, and supports multi-core processors. No other video conversion software is better!

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

The only downside is that you can only render one thing at a time, so if you are rendering something in Adobe Premiere it'll pause the rendering temporarily.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Works great for converting large videos into smaller formats that are suitable for streaming . In addition, the conversion between formats works great. If you have an WMV that you need converted to an MP4, Adobe Media Encoder will do the trick!

 ### 35. A very powerful tool for converting files.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayesh C. | Creative Associate (Content), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Adobe's media encoder is a very fast tool when you are exporting video files from any of the Adobe's software at a very fast speed. You can export files in any of your desired format.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Adobe's encoder doesn't have any such visible and active downsides. Just it must be compatible with many other 3rd party softwares as well. But it is absolutely cool tool to use.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As at our organization we are using different types of software from Adobe's we are integrating them to export all these file using media encoder to our desired video format.

 ### 36. Exporting made simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Exporting directly from Premier Pro can have some pretty unforeseen challenges and often leave you without detailed progress information. Media Encoder is brilliant at speedy and informative video exporting.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

There is not much to dislike. It is by far the superior method of exporting in the Adobe ecosystem, and with the ability to stack multiple exports and track their progress, this is a win.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do multiple video projects a week and this often leads to exporting on multiple systems apart from the ones you edited on. Combine the fact that you can stack exports and easily import project files from other PCs; Media Encoder's robust tools for exporting saves us so much time.

 ### 37. Offers multiple renders in various formats

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anderson L. | Video editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I use Adobe Media Encoder in all my After Effects projects. Render is fast and offers multiple output formats which makes it mandatory to use in any of the projects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

It works perfectly but Adobe could offer Media Encoder services alongside their other products. So it would not be necessary to buy a different product just to finish the render.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It would be impossible to get a satisfactory render without using Media Encoder. This software saves all my projects in the format I want, with specific settings.

 ### 38. Easy to use and all tools are available

 ### 40. the king of render

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elie A. | Freelance Graphic Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Whether you want to talk about exporting an image or any type of video you're here with the best software to render with the quality you want to get. simply the best.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

the most annoying thing in Adobe media encoder is that when you open it and want to render the first file it will take some time to read the link and make the queue available.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personally, I use Adobe media encoder to render files from Adobe after effects and Adobe premiere pro, not only videos but sometimes to capture scenes from a video.

 ### 41. Transcoding of multimedia files

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Biagio D. | User Experience Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Adobe Media Encoder allows you to encode multimedia files, especially video, in order to better manage them and save them in the most correct format. It can be used alone or combined with Adobe software, such as After Effects and Premiere Pro (but also Audition for audio files).

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

It is probably underused, or used only for standard situations, such as correctly encoding a video for social media. Actually Adobe Media Encoder allows much more, even for a much more professional use. From this point of view it would be a good thing to advertise these functions in the best possible way and perhaps make the interface a little more user friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Media Encoder:**

Those who use video editing or motion graphics software, especially Adobe, will not be able to do without Media Encoder. Very suitable if you use After Effects often, and for different purposes. It also allows encoding of audio files as well as video files.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Personally I use it a lot in combination with After Effects. I create my motion graphics with After Effects and then call Media Encoder to render, encode and save my work in the correct format. Sometimes I use it to encode video or audio that is already there and not made by me.

 ### 42. Essential for video exporting multiple projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel R. | Graphic Design Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I love that I can continue working on my projects in Premier or After Effects while other videos are encoded and saved with Media Encoder. It doubled the pace of my previous workflow.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I dislike that when I need to edit a video already sent to Media Encoder, it adds a new video to the queue rather than updating the list, so I have to delete the older version.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Media Encoder for every video and animation I have, and I can export different formats to different locations very quickly. I can easily click on a recently exported video in the queue and see where it landed, so I always know where my files are. That alone saves me a massive headache.

 ### 43. Drag and drop simplicity at its finest

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I truly enjoy how easy Adobe makes it for you to encode media. It is truly drag and drop and with so many encoding choices available, it is easy to output the correct file type and format for all kinds of projects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Some of the settings could be a bit more intuitive, it may be just me not knowing all the terminology, but there should be a basic and advanced mode. Clearly there are settings here that I will never use, so to be able to skip through a bit quicker would be ideal.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This program is totally integrated with all the video editing software that we use, which makes getting a final product out the door quick and easy. Since is part of the Adobe ecosystem, the learning curve is not that steep, and with the available tutorials you'll be ready to go in a matter of minutes.

 ### 44. A really useful video rendering software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aderly S. | MIDI Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I am grateful with the possibility of rendering while we continue doing other tasks in premiere or continue editing other projects, in addition to being able to apply the renderings one after another.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Sometimes the rendering pauses for no reason, I have to restart the rendering again, but sometimes I don't realize that it has been paused because I'm doing other tasks and wasting time.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Media Encoder:**

If you use adobe premiere to edit and mix your videos, and constantly chain videos, feel free to use media encoder, you will love it.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me render projects while I continue editing other projects, or even the same project, this is really useful since I do not have a high-end video card, and it takes time to render the videos.

 ### 45. Essential render software for my projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SHEHAB H. | Digital Media Producer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I like Adobe Media Encoder because it helping me with rendering my projects from Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro easily and quickly... I can send many projects from Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere to Adobe Media Encoder while I am working on other projects on these programs with ease... Also sometimes I use Adobe Media Encoder as a converting software for my videos and audios

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

It couldn't render more than one project at the same time, That's the only thing I don't like in Adobe Media Encoder

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Media Encoder:**

If you are Adobe After Effects / Adobe Premiere Pro user so you definitely need to try Adobe Media Encoder, It will help you with rendering multi projects in one time at one place to many common media formats

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Adobe Media Encoder I was rendering my projects in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro directly and this was putting me off a lot and wasting my time because I had to wait for the render to finish in order to be able to use these programs for my work again and this was very difficult, But now after using Adobe Media Encoder I can work on these programs while the rendering process is working "That’s Great!"

 ### 46. Powerful Media Encoding with Adobe Media Encoder

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Graphic Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Media Encoder is a powerful one-stop shop for nearly all your encoding needs. Especially for encoding projects from Premier Pro and After Effects.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Since the recent updates have come out for Media Encoder and After Effects, the process for encoding via Dynamic Link from After Effects has not always been possible. Once this issue has been resolved, Media Encoder will once again be a complete one-stop shop encoding tool.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Media Encoder:**

If you are looking for a media encoder that is universal in the formats it works with and is also compatible with Adobe software, Media Encoder should be on your list of possibilities.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As its name implies, Media Encoder has been the answer to converting many video formats for graphic design projects over the years. Depending on the size and file type, it is also very quick to encode files as well.

 ### 47. An indispensable complement for those who use After Effects

I can easily render my project to any format that meets the requirements of my projects. It's quick and easy and even lets you render multiple projects at the same time.

Can only be used in conjunction with Adobe softwares. It would be interesting to expand to other use cases.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Media Encoder:**

You definitely need Adobe Media Encoder to finish your renders. Especially if you are an After Effects or Premiere user

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use after effects to post-production my 3D animations. Adobe's Encoder is essential to render the project in the desired format. I tested it once and I don't give up using it in all my projects.

 ### 48. Encode the world

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

There is no way around the fact that everyone who identifies themselves as designers must have adobe tools at their hands and motion designers rely on After Effects, Premiere and alike. What makes the encoder stands out is how smoothly it integrates with all Adobe ecosystem. It makes my life much simpler!

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Sometimes I want an advanced encoder setting and more codecs. I see the objective to keep it simple and to be honest, when I open the encoder, I already have a tight deadline running to deliver. That's a fact, I know, but, from time to time, I have the opportunity to explore it more and I feel a bit constrained by the lack of options to tweak the settings deeper.

**Recommendations to others considering Adobe Media Encoder:**

As soon as possible, build a preset list from your most-used output requirements and relax and enjoy the ride!

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I come to Encoder to compress my animations in the best possible way, to protect the color integrity and image details in the smallest possible file.

 ### 49. Adobe Media Encoder Saves time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberto P. | Consumer Electronics reviewer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Adobe Media Encoder gives you the capacity to perform multiple exporting video processes parallel to each other, allowing you to continue editing video while exporting.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

What I dislike the most about Adobe Media Encoder software is that it is rather hard to run correctly on Windows computers that do not have an excessive amount of resources to work.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Media Encoder solved a lot of problems for me because usually, I tend to edit a lot of videos, so meanwhile, I'm exporting one project, I can continue editing another task in parallel.

 ### 50. Exporting is a breeze with Adobe Media Encoder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David V. | Multimedia Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?**

I'm able to export my videos in a variety of formats, with a ton of different settings for optimum performance! It's also great for projects that cross over between After Effects and Premiere Pro.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?**

Everything works as advertised, I just wish there were some more options for exporting non-video formats. For example, it can be cumbersome to open Photoshop to convert a large PNG to a small JPG. This could be streamlined if I could do it right within Media Encoder.

**What problems is Adobe Media Encoder solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to tailor my video's export with easy-to-remember controls regardless of what software I edited in, what medium/screen size my export is going to play on, and what format is required for that medium.
