I like Adobe Dimension because the drag-and-drop workflow is fast and easy for non-3D specialists. I can create realistic 3D visuals and turn models into product shots and web-ready GLB files without needing a dedicated 3D artist. Built-in Substance materials, Adobe Stock 3D assets, and realistic lighting help me get good results quickly. GLB/glTF export is especially valuable because I can load assets directly into our three.js and model-viewer pages. I also use Render Preview to check lighting before final export, and placing Illustrator or Photoshop graphics as decals makes branded mockups quick. Exporting layered PSDs and GLB/glTF files fits our Creative Cloud and web development pipeline. It was easy to adopt since it came with our Creative Cloud license, and setup took only a few minutes. The starter tutorials helped our team get productive within a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For us, final renders are slow and GPU-heavy, and large scenes can lag or crash. We find modeling very limited, and there’s no animation support. Updates have slowed since Adobe moved focus to Substance 3D Stager. As developers, we also miss a scripting API or CLI to batch-render and automate asset exports in our CI pipeline.
