"The flexible powerhouse for complex B2B and multi-store e-commerce"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?

What we like best about Adobe Commerce is its flexibility combined with a very rich feature set out of the box. The open, modular architecture lets us adapt the platform to almost any business process without touching the core, which keeps projects upgrade-safe. The native B2B suite with company accounts, shared catalogs, customer-specific pricing and quote workflows saves our clients a lot of custom development. In addition, multi-store and multi-country capabilities allow several brands or markets to be managed from a single backend. Together with powerful APIs for ERP, PIM and CRM integrations and a large developer community, this makes Adobe Commerce our go-to platform for complex e-commerce projects. What do you dislike about Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce)?

The biggest drawback is the platform’s complexity. Its architecture has a steep learning curve, so onboarding new developers takes time and even smaller customizations require deep framework knowledge. Performance also needs careful attention: with large catalogs or many store views, indexing, caching and deployments can become slow and resource-intensive without significant tuning. The admin panel feels dated in places and is not always intuitive for merchants, especially when it comes to attributes, price rules and configuration scopes. Finally, license and infrastructure costs, along with the effort required for upgrades and security patches, increase the total cost of ownership and make the platform less attractive for smaller businesses.
