What do you like best about Adobe Audition?

Overall this is a great tool with a lot of useful features. I have used it for a variety of different projects and it has always met my needs. Particularly, I like the noise reduction tools to decrease background noise in my audio files taken in videos. It interfaces very well with Premiere Pro as well. What do you dislike about Adobe Audition?

It is a bit complex for simple audio editing. If you only need to make audio adjustments and not do major edits, you can usually do them in a simpler manor (such as using the audio tools directly within Premiere in my case). The better your understanding of audio and audio tools, the easier the program is to use, but not as intuitive as some other Adobe products in my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Adobe Audition solving and how is that benefiting you?

I primarily use Audition to edit the audio from videos I have created or I am editing within Premiere Pro. While you can extract the audio and edits in Audition go directly into Premiere, you do not always need to do so. The biggest feature I've used is noise reduction, though you need an audio sample of just the noise you are trying to remove in order to actually take out those frequencies.
