Adobe Audition helps me get better mic quality for voiceovers, and I can export professional WAV files and trim or piece together audio as needed. I like that it’s easy to use for simple tasks, while still letting me go deeper into its features. It gives me more control over recording, pausing, cutting out stumbles, and trimming segments than voice memos, which is important for my work. Setup was relatively simple, and after the second or third time using it, I no longer needed tutorials. It exports the right file types and works well for my purposes. I wish there were a simpler, more user-friendly way to clean up audio in Adobe Audition. It records audio well, but I don’t know of a one-button fix to remove background noise or symbols. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
