Tools like page reorder (change page sequence), annotation (add comment, highlight keyword), and page splitter (split 1,2 or more pages from the files) is effective for professional document management and to comply with industry needs.

Adobe Acrobat set a high standard for PDF management software, but some tools like revision history is too basic and only offer maximum of 5 checkpoint to roll-back to previous version. Other than that, everything else is working great.

  ### 6. Effortless PDF Merging, Sharing, and Editing with Handy Highlights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kirthana j. | System Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

What I genuinely like is how reliable it feels when working with important documents. I use it a lot for editing PDFs that come from different sources, and it rarely messes up formatting—especially with fonts and alignment, which used to be a headache for me earlier. The “Edit PDF” feature is surprisingly smooth; it feels almost like working in a Word document. I also appreciate how easy it is to combine multiple files into one clean PDF without needing any extra tools.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

One thing that bothers me is how heavy the application can feel at times. It takes a bit longer to load compared to lighter PDF tools, especially when opening large files. Also, some features that feel basic—like advanced editing or converting files—are locked behind the paid version, which can be a bit frustrating when you only need them occasionally.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Acrobat regularly, I struggled with managing multiple document formats—Word files, scanned images, and PDFs—especially when I needed to send professional-looking files. Now, I can convert everything into a single, well-structured PDF, edit small mistakes without going back to the original file, and even add signatures quickly. It has made my workflow much more organized and saved me time when dealing with official documents, especially in situations where formatting consistency really matters.

  ### 7. Highly Reliable for Messy PDFs, with Surprisingly Smart Editing and Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhay P. | Performance Tester, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

What stood out for me is how reliable it is when dealing with messy PDFs. In my daily work, I often receive files created from scans, screenshots, or different tools — and Acrobat somehow manages to normalize everything. The “Edit PDF” feature doesn’t just let you type; it actually understands the structure surprisingly well, even in documents that were never meant to be edited.
Also, the commenting workflow feels very practical — especially when multiple people are reviewing the same file. It doesn’t feel like just adding notes; it feels like a proper collaboration layer on top of a static document.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

One thing that bothers me is the performance inconsistency. Some days it works perfectly smooth, and other times even a medium-sized file takes noticeable time to load or scroll. It’s not predictable, which can be frustrating during time-sensitive tasks.
Another small but annoying thing is how certain features feel “hidden behind too many clicks.” You know the tool exists, but finding it again later isn’t always intuitive unless you use it regularly.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Acrobat properly, we had issues with document version confusion — people editing different copies, sending updated files over email, and losing track of final versions. Acrobat helped centralize that process.
Now, instead of rewriting or recreating documents, we directly modify existing PDFs, add comments, and finalize everything in one place. It has reduced rework significantly, especially for approval-based documents.
A major benefit I personally noticed is time saved on document corrections — what used to take 20–30 minutes (recreating or reformatting) now takes just a few quick edits.

  ### 8. Great Features, But Comes at a Cost

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Devyani B. | Technical Support Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

What I like most about Adobe Acrobat is how easy it makes working with PDFs in everyday situations. Whether it’s editing a document, adding comments, or signing something quickly, everything feels smooth and reliable. I don’t have to convert files into another format just to make small changes—it saves a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

One thing I don’t like about Adobe Acrobat is that many useful features are locked behind a paid subscription. Basic viewing is free, but if you want to edit text, convert files properly, or use advanced tools, you have to pay and it can feel a bit expensive for students.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Acrobat mainly solves the problem of handling documents in a consistent, professional format. Before tools like this, files would look different on different devices or get messed up when shared. PDFs fix that and Acrobat makes them easy to work with.

  ### 9. Easy PDF Editing, Templates, and E-Signing That Save Time and Costs by Adobe Acrobat

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izaham R. | Project Lead Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

Adobe Acrobat offers an easy features to manage everything about PDF, from simple text editing to creating flayers design using their templates, I have saves so much time on the designing part since I don't have to provide the design myself anymore. Another tools that I use frequently is the e-signing feature to digitally sign contract and legal document, all is in digital form thus we manage to saved cost on paper printing and storage space to store the hardcopy document in office, we integrate with Dropbox as a secure cloud storage to store all the digital contract.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

Converting many documents using the bulk converter is quick, but need to be careful because not every layout is supported and it can misalign the layout after converting, Adobe Acrobat customer support is already aware of this issue but still no real solution is provided by them.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Main issue that Adobe Acrobat has solved is mainly with PDF editing like page splitter to split several page from the main PDF document, size compressor to reduce the large size into smaller size and e-signature tools to approve and validate professional documents.

PDF conversion, collaborative commenting mark-up, file organization, and e-signatures are all things that might require their own platform, but Adobe Acrobat puts them all together.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Adobe Acrobat is easy to use. The very first page on the site provides you two main tabs: "Discover" and "Tools". Adobe provides tutorials on how to use Acrobat and it's many applications in the workspace. They show you how to work with PDFs in Google Drive or Office files. The tab even covers e-signing and creating a web form.

The "Tools" tab provides the avenues in which you can use Acrobat that was covered in the "Discover" tab. "Tools" allows you to combine files, edit text & images in a PDF, request e-signatures and organize pages.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

There have been instances where converting a JPG to a PDF have either produced a blurry image or crunched the data that makes it hard to read.

I'm still not a fan of subscription models for software licenses but I am aware of the benefits including the ability for Adobe to update the site as improvements are implemented.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get a lot of documents in our office sent to us digitally as a JPG, PNG or Word Doc and the outside offices we send documents to need to be secure and in PDF form as that is universally accepeted. Acrobat allows us to convert files to PDF and organize them.

I love that I can perform multiple functions within Acrobat. Not just viewing PDF documents, but notating, highlighting, adding signatures, deleting pages. This software allows all kinds of actions within one platform, as opposed to having to do these on separate applications.

Since there is a paywall for full usage Acrobat, and not all of the stations in my company have it installed, so they have to use other apps to access pdfs or edit pages (such as CutePDF). Unsure that this is a software issue or licensing and access thing from my company's end.

  ### 22. Adobe Acrobat Streamlined Our Document Workflow—No More Printing or Scanning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pilar G. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

Let’s talk about simplifying a task. At Coitiar, we manage many documents, including member registrations, agreements, training enrollments, financial audits, and certifications. That’s a lot of paperwork, and Adobe Acrobat has removed the need for printing, scanning, and physical signatures. Everything is now handled digitally in a single, streamlined workflow.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

The only thing I dislike is that, with Adobe, some advanced features sometimes require higher-tier, more expensive plans, which can feel costly for many companies.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slow, paper-based document administration is such a thorn in the foot for any organization handling crazy loads of paperwork, like us. Before, documents had to be printed, signed, scanned, and emailed. It was a hectic, time-consuming process with too many steps and too many chances for things to go missing. Adobe Acrobat simplified all of that by enabling a more digital, streamlined workflow. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adelaide R. | Freelance Graphic Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

I use Adobe Acrobat to edit PDFs for work and I like how easy it is to use. I think it's the best PDF editor tool out there, and it contains a lot of additional tools to support a variety of workflows. The form creation tool is great, especially the option that auto-detects form fields, which saves a lot of time. I also use the signature option a lot. Acrobat makes it really easy to merge and adjust files, which is another time-saver compared to opening them one by one. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

I have been having a lot of issues with the collaboration tools, especially 'send for signature'. I find that some of the tools can be a little buggy, including the export. Editing PDFs is also a hit-or-miss when Acrobat is auto-detecting and converting text.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Adobe Acrobat to create forms, combine documents, and edit PDFs. The form creation tool, auto-detecting fields, and easy merging save me a lot of time.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy S. | Special Processing Unit, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

I work with a lot of government documents and I love how easy Adobe Acrobat makes it to handle documents digitally rather than having to handle them physically. This makes it possible to work anywhere rather than having to work at physical offices. The PDF functionality on Adobe Acrobat is incredible!

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

One thing I dislike about Adobe Acrobat is that when I try to login in through my Gmail on the application. Half the time it does not work. It says it has redirected me into my browser when it hasn't and basically does not allow me to log in. This is extremely annoying and I know its not just me because I have seen plenty of people deal with this same issue. I love using this application and just want to be able to smoothly log in.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The company I work for deals with a lot of government documents. Adobe acrobat lets us keep documentation digital rather than having to physically have it. **What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

What I like best about Adobe Acrobat is its comprehensive set of features that make working with PDFs incredibly efficient. I particularly appreciate the ability to combine multiple files into a single PDF and the high-quality editing tools that enable me to manipulate text and images seamlessly.

Additionally, the commenting and collaboration features are invaluable, especially when working with teams. Being able to add annotations, highlight text, and track changes in real-time enhances productivity and streamlines communication. The integration with other Adobe products and cloud services also adds a layer of convenience, making it easy to access documents from anywhere. Overall, Adobe Acrobat combines powerful tools with a user-friendly experience, making it my go-to choice for all my PDF needs.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

What I dislike about Adobe Acrobat is its pricing structure. While the features are robust, the subscription model can be quite expensive for individuals or small businesses. I often find it frustrating that certain advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can feel limiting.

Another issue I've encountered is the software's performance; it can sometimes be slow to load or respond, especially with larger files. Additionally, while there are plenty of tutorials and support resources available, I believe the initial learning curve can be steep for new users who are unfamiliar with PDF software.

Lastly, while the interface is generally user-friendly, there are moments when it feels cluttered, making it challenging to find specific tools quickly. Overall, while Adobe Acrobat is powerful and versatile, these drawbacks can impact the overall user experience.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adobe Acrobat addresses several key problems in document management. First, it provides an easy way to create and edit PDFs from various file types while preserving formatting, allowing me to produce professional-looking documents quickly and make necessary edits without reverting to the original file, thus saving time and effort. Additionally, Acrobat streamlines collaboration by enabling multiple users to annotate and comment on the same document simultaneously, eliminating the cumbersome process of exchanging emails or printed copies for feedback. **Reviewed by:** Ryan B. | Safety Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Adobe Acrobat?**

Adobe Acrobat remains the gold standard for PDF creation, editing, and management, offering a feature-rich platform that handles virtually any document workflow. As the original developer of the PDF format, Adobe delivers unmatched reliability and comprehensive tools that go far beyond basic PDF viewing. The software excels at complex tasks like form creation, digital signatures, redaction, OCR (optical character recognition), and document comparison. The editing capabilities are robust, allowing users to modify text, images, and page layouts with precision that rivals word processors. Collaboration features including commenting, markup tools, and shared reviews make team workflows seamless. Integration with Adobe's Creative Cloud ecosystem and common business applications is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

The elephant in the room is cost. Adobe's subscription pricing model ($15-20/month for individuals, more for teams) feels steep for users who only need occasional PDF editing. Free alternatives handle basic tasks adequately, making Acrobat feel like overkill for simple needs. File sizes can also bloat compared to some competitors.

**What problems is Adobe Acrobat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The interface has improved significantly in recent versions, though it can still feel overwhelming for casual users given the extensive feature set. Performance is generally solid, even with large documents, and cloud syncing through Adobe Document Cloud works reliably across devices.

Adobe feels like a powerful tool for opening PDF files, updating them, signing forms, and extracting the required data without much external dependency. Adobe provides a strong interface for working with and integrating a wide variety of PDF documents.

**What do you dislike about Adobe Acrobat?**

Layered PDFs provide security against data tampering. However, extracting data from these PDFs can sometimes take more effort.
