I don't like that there is complex rule inheritance for specialized departments. Setting up nested approval rules for different specialized divisions like upholstery, wood mining, and corporate finance within the same active directory organizational unit can be complex to configure initially. They should implement a visual policy builder with a drag-and-drop rule hierarchy and inheritance testing tool to make it easier to assign approval rules across varied manufacturing divisions.
