**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like how Acumatica provides simplicity and fast information retrieval, which is crucial for my work as a Financial Analyst. The ability to get fast information with just a click really makes my job easier. I also appreciate the access to create queries and reports without needing intervention from the IT department. This autonomy helps me get real-time data in my reports and allows me to address products with margin issues efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

I think the new implementations they are bringing this 2026 year, are covering the past problems.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acumatica helps me identify margin issues, access real-time data in reports, and get faster information. I appreciate the simplicity of obtaining quick information with a click and the ability to create queries and reports without IT support.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like how customizable and powerful Acumatica is. I appreciate the fact that I can customize it myself, instead of needing to pay someone else. The software isn't locked down, making it more desirable. It allows me, as a project manager and systems engineer, to keep an eye on my projects, import purchase order data, and view all financials. Most questions about how things are going in my project can be identified and viewed without having to bother anyone or wait for responses.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

As I'm still trying to get myself up to speed, I don't really know. I do wish there was more live through.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acumatica to monitor projects and financials without needing to wait for responses, thanks to its insightful visibility.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like that Acumatica is online, easy to use, and easily customizable. It's great that we were able to work with a partner vendor to create an import for our invoices from our claims and policy software, making it easy to load them into the Acumatica system.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

I find that Acumatica is not the most user-friendly when it comes to handling expense reports. The screen navigation for these reports can be cumbersome, and our staff often needs explanations on how to add files, which can be a bit of a hassle.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acumatica for general ledger and tracking grants. It solves finance and accounting problems. It's online, easy to use, easily customizable, and integrates well with our claims and policy software for invoicing.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I use Acumatica primarily for our Construction Financials and it's great that the software is constantly evolving and looking to solve my needs and issues. I think connecting a CRM and Operation service into one software will be great.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

I can't add multiple pictures at a time from my phone into the Service Order. We take pictures of jobsites during the Quote phase and then after the installation stage, so having to add photos one at a time is inconvenient. The initial setup wasn't very smooth, mostly because of the issues with the third-party vendor running it.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acumatica for Construction Financials, allowing us to operate our financials and pull reporting. It is constantly evolving and looking to solve my needs and issues.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like the security roles in Acumatica because they allow us to limit access to users and fields, preventing users from pressing buttons when they should not. The search capability is very helpful for finding different items and accounts. I also appreciate the dashboards feature.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

I don't like that the service orders in Acumatica do not allow us to change the order type once it is created. This limits our ability to track orders accurately when an initial assessment is incorrect and the order type needs to be updated. Also, the initial setup wasn't great.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acumatica for dispatching service, ordering equipment, and tracking installs. Its security roles limit access, and I find the search capability helpful for finding items and accounts.

It’s easy to use overall. We did overcomplicate the integration and configuration on our end, which made the setup feel more difficult than it needed to be.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

We overcomplicated the setup by over-customizing the product. We tried to cater to each client’s requests, and the amount of customization we took on ended up creating issues down the line.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security, ease of use, and accessibility were key for us. Reporting was also a major factor, since our previous product made it cumbersome to retrieve the data we needed.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I love how Acumatica has made us a paperless company and allows our staff to see financial results and drill down into the backup documentation. I enjoy the ability to drill down into more detail, which saves my financial team time by allowing department heads to view the financial results of the area under their control.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

The non-profit plus does not work well with what I like to do. I like to have a period 13 for adjustments. The NPP has to be shut off in order to set up that period.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acumatica makes us paperless, letting staff see financial results and drill down to documentation. It saves time for my financial team by allowing department heads to view detailed financial results independently.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like Acumatica for its ability to log in from anywhere, allowing me to get the information I need whenever I need it. The user interface is very easy to use, and the system is responsive, making it easy to get the information I need quickly. I also appreciate how it handles all of our finance functionality, including customer invoicing, vendor payments, and financial reporting.

I would like to see an easier and more robust way to add approvals to different steps of various accounting processes. This would help us with our audit requirements.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like that everything in Acumatica is real-time, providing instant data for order status, allocation, and overall margins. The ability to customize data and reports is another aspect I enjoy. I also appreciate how easy Acumatica is to use and how straightforward it is to train new users on the system.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

I don't like that the 'Promised to sell' function is not a core feature, and I wish Acumatica had the ability to send payment links with quotes through Acumatica payments. From a salesperson's perspective, I find it challenging that I can't easily see when a made-to-order or out-of-stock product will be back in stock to communicate this to customers.

I think Acumatica is very easy to learn and develop the basics, and it has a high skill cap. I like how it improves visibility to journal entries within the company, making information visible for everyone. It makes it easy to show my leadership the ins and outs of the daily transactions and prepare for future pending transactions. I appreciate the features for finding account details and adjusting entries with debits and credits.

I struggle with the involvement of generic inquiries and customization. I need more information to make it easier to develop.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like how Acumatica allows us to work more efficiently with our current FTE and scale faster without having to add more FTE. I appreciate the customizability of the platform where users can tailor it to suit their business. Additionally, the generic inquiries function is great as it allows you to build your own inquiries with data points that are relevant to your business.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

The reporting aspect needs work. Building reports is clunky and could be improved for usability and also the speed at which they can be created.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I think Acumatica is easily customizable. Once I learned how to build GIs, I realized that the system could do most anything I want it to do. It's a one-stop solution for us, and while there is extensive out of the box functionality, I appreciate that I can customize it to see information natively gathered or perform tasks like finding inventory with multiple locations or generating a weekly shipping report.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

I find working with Acumatica Corporate to be difficult. We needed to switch VARs, and the process was painful.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acumatica aggregates our production and financial data, and serves as a one-stop solution for ERP and CRM needs, helping us manage inventory and generate reports. It's customizable to do almost anything we require.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I find Acumatica easy to use and very powerful once you get a handle on it. It's a cloud-based ERP that has made it easier to work remotely and allows us to make customizations much more easily. One of the things I really appreciate is its ability to integrate well into other applications we use, like Shopify for our POS and other APIs. These integrations flow seamlessly into Acumatica, adding a lot of power to our small business.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

Right now we aren't able to sync Shopify banking statements into the banking and transaction features. It's making reconciliation very difficult.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Acumatica being cloud-based lets us work remotely and easily customize. It integrates smoothly with applications like Shopify, adding power to our small business.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like Acumatica for its ability to replicate all our manual processes, automating some, and streamlining data sharing across departments. The reduction of duplicate data entry and the ability to report across sales teams and production teams adds value.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

There are limitations to the system and currently a few too many clicks necessary to complete some of our daily processes. Initial setup and integration was painful and took 3x longer than scheduled, but a lot of the delays and issues were internal driven rather than system based.

Acumatica serves as the source of truth for core process data, providing real-time access for various departments. It reduces duplicate data entry and streamlines data sharing across departments, enhancing reporting between sales and production teams.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like using the banking module in Acumatica because we can import our banking report daily, which helps speed up the bank reconciliation process. The system allows us to auto match the transactions after importing, saving a lot of time. Also, the initial setup was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

One aspect that I couldn't use is the match to the invoice option within the banking process transaction. The system does not generate a transaction when trying to reconcile. Therefore, I would need to create a separate cash transaction for reconciliation purposes.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acumatica mainly for banking, financials, and construction modules. It streamlines our month-end close process and speeds up bank reconciliation by importing bank reports daily and auto-matching transactions, saving a lot of time.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I love the controls and permissions in Acumatica. They help keep the books clean and accurate by not allowing people to post to the wrong thing, and they allow our finance team to review journal entries before they're posted to the general ledger. I like that these features ensure the data stays true to what's actually occurring by preventing incorrect postings.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

I can't match multiple items from the Bank side and match to just one thing on the GL side during Bank Reconciliations.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acumatica for billing, revenue recording, and month-end close tasks like bank reconciliations. It speeds up processes and eliminates the need to build everything in Excel. The controls and permissions ensure data accuracy by preventing incorrect postings.

**What do you like best about Acumatica?**

I like Acumatica's ability to plan, create, and track. It helps me track inventory in real time, plan manufacturing needs, and create purchase orders and work orders.

**What do you dislike about Acumatica?**

I find there are way too many windows and duplicate information in Acumatica. I haven't found a way to scrap price parts in a production order yet. Also, the MRP should be able to filter to show just what I need to create POs for. I think the clock-in feature should be available in the production WO, instead of requiring a completely different screen.

**What problems is Acumatica solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Acumatica to manage inventory accurately, track inventory in real-time, and plan manufacturing needs. It helps me plan, create, and track to create purchase orders and work orders efficiently.

The initial setup was much easier than GP or QuickBooks, thanks to the expertise of our formerly Klear Systems team, now part of Acumatica.

I really like the ease of use of Acumatica and how it has replaced our Excel spreadsheets. It saves us time and makes us more efficient in our day-to-day work. We no longer have to fill in data for our team members to know our current status.

I don't like that there are too many clicks to get things done and also a lot of unnecessary tabs that make things convoluted. The setup took quite a bit of the year to customize and set up, especially since we have a few subsidiary companies to work with.

I don't like how they sell additional modules. It would be better if they limited the sales of these modules and kept it in-house. Also, I found the initial setup challenging, even though we had organized support online to keep up with deliverables.

I love the business events and the automation features Acumatica offers, as they allow us to not have to worry about running processes manually and can show data for all our specific departments. I also love being able to build my own GI. It really helps us get data in real time and solves the issue of not having data to analyze.

I find the report designer difficult to use. Business events are tough to troubleshoot as well. The initial setup was tough with the VAR because they didn’t know enough about our business to set it up correctly.

I like the manufacturing function we have from eWorkplace in Acumatica. The financials are easy as well. I appreciate that we can see real-time data for manufacturing, which helps us understand what we have, what we are working on, and what we need to order. I also appreciate that I can work on Acumatica from anywhere, which is a big upgrade from our old system, GreatPlains.

The EDI integration has been less than stellar. I wouldn't call the initial setup easy, though our team managed it with our VAR.

I also like the integration with other software, especially how it works with ADP for turnover stats on room costs. The setup process is almost done and has been straightforward with no problems. GIs give us the ability to pull our own reports. Business events help us automate a lot of processes with the help of a task scheduler.

I need a deferred revenue module for distribution. I also need a consigned inventory module for distribution, where you can receive and sell consigned inventory.

We're able to track back the traceability of any product if a customer has an issue and can easily see where the production was. The initial setup was much easier when switching from Epicor P21, and this transition was smooth. Overall, I appreciate the functionality it provides in helping with tasks such as handling taxes, as it does the taxes effectively.
