"Reliable Automation, Despite a Steep Learning Curve"
4.5/5
What do you like best about ActiveBatch?

I appreciate how reliably ActiveBatch schedules jobs. I build workflows in the drag-and-drop designer, where I can connect a stock export, website update, and failure alert in minutes, then change a job later without scripting. The console shows all my overnight runs in one view, so I can spot and fix a failed job before the showroom opens. It also replaces the manual nightly exports I used to run, builds our monthly sales report automatically, and alerts me when a job fails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ActiveBatch?

The beginning was demanding. During my first weeks, I spent more time in the documentation than in ActiveBatch, and it assumed experience that I didn’t have. I struggled to understand how job dependencies, triggers, and alert settings fit together because the documentation explained each feature on its own and offered no worked examples. Step-by-step tutorials built around everyday cases would have helped. It also took several weeks before our first workflows ran reliably, and the interface looks dated beside newer products. The learning curve eased after a few workflows, though, and now I create new ones with little reference material. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
