Active boot disk is an easy-to-use yet highly configurable tool for everyday tasks. I often rely on its disk imaging, password recovery, and KillDisk features, and the file recovery option with file signature identification is a great addition as well. What I like most about Active boot disk is the Windows-like environment—it makes everything feel familiar and straightforward to work with. The BitLocker support is also very cool. When I need to clone a partition that has some bad sectors, I have to switch to a full drive clone. In partition mode, there isn’t an option to skip bad sectors, so I can’t complete the partition clone the way I need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
