What impressed me the most about Action1 was that it was very quick to set-up and configure. The functionality out of the box far exceeded my expectations, especially with the free plan for up to 200 without limitations or needing a credit card. We were able to set-up a trial and evaluate all the options and features very quickly. It had all the essential elements for a successful trial and quick transition to production. The documentation is not as clear as I'd like it to be when dealing with scripting and automations. I would prefer more detailed instructions and limitations that are shown.

Software matching filters in Automations could do with 'previews' so we can see what updates/installs are filtered.

The UX for scripting is lacking and could deal with script formatting. But generally, we overcame this by using an external editor and uploading the scripts (which is the recommended method).

The dark mode colour scheme isn't to my liking as the the blue on black background is not comfortable to my eyes. A few more colour themes would be good to see, and possibly the ability to configure a few key colours to make it our own themed product would be great.

The remote connection tools are lacking. It would be fantastic to have better remote access and/or terminal/ssh access to devices via a secure pipe using Action1. We've learned to live without this, but it would be very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
