**What do you like best about Act!?**

I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. What I like most about Act! is that it keeps contacts, notes, activity history, tasks, meetings, and opportunities organized in one place. This makes it easier to manage patient follow-ups, consultation inquiries, wellness program discussions, and other day-to-day communication without losing track of important details. I regularly use contact management, calendar scheduling, task tracking, notes, and activity history. These features help me keep records of conversations, schedule follow-ups, organize appointments, and maintain information related to patients and health education projects. The opportunity tracking section is also useful for monitoring inquiries and ongoing discussions in a structured way.

I also like that communication and marketing-related activities can stay connected with contact records, which helps when managing awareness campaigns and content-related outreach. The platform offers a good number of useful features, but the overall workflow remains manageable after regular use. In my experience, performance has been stable during daily work, and moving between contacts, activities, notes, and schedules is generally smooth. Implementation was straightforward for my needs, and the available support resources are helpful when required. Overall, Act! helps me stay organized and keeps important contacts, activities, and follow up work in one place.

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

Most daily activities run smoothly, but occasionally I notice small delays when moving between larger records, activity histories, or information-heavy sections. Also, The platform offers many features for contact management, activities, opportunities, and communication tracking. Because there is so much functionality available, some screens can show a lot of information at once, and I occasionally spend extra time locating a specific setting or option.

**What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me keep contacts, follow-ups, notes, activities, and communication records organized in one place. It provides a structured way to manage ongoing interactions and keep important information easier to access when needed. I can review contact history, check previous notes, schedule follow-ups, and manage daily activities without having information spread across different records. Having contacts, tasks, meetings, notes, and activity history connected together makes day-to-day work easier to manage.

It also helps keep communication and follow-up activities properly documented, which makes reviewing previous interactions much simpler. The calendar and activity management features help ensure that important tasks and scheduled activities remain visible and easier to track. As a result, I spend less time searching for information and manually organizing records. Overall, Act! helps me stay organized, maintain better visibility across ongoing activities, and manage follow-up work more efficiently.

**What do you like best about Act!?**

The amount of pertinent information that I can store that is related to running my day to day business which is easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

I use the desktop version of Act, and it is very difficult in updating to the recent version.  I just wish that it was simple like a Windows Update, as I also subscribe to the the Advisor overlay as per the included photo as I'm in the financial services industry.  Both Act and the Advisor overlay are purchase through my subscription through Corelogix as the software supplier.  Whenever I update my Act software to the most recent version, I lose all of the customized settings for my Advisor overlay.  Very frustrating!!!

**What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily access the information on my clients to run my day to day business.

**What do you like best about Act!?**

The depth of the contact records is something I truly appreciate. Being able to view a comprehensive history of every touchpoint in a single view is crucial for a company like Ethics Empire, where we oversee HR, accounting, and marketing clients. We can follow a lead from the initial email to a signed contract thanks to the smooth integration between the CRM and Marketing Automation.

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

In comparison to some of the more recent, "flashier" CRMs available, the interface seems a little out of date. Additionally, if you have a very large database of contacts, it may load very slowly. I would love to see a more user-friendly UI update that would allow our team to move between the various modules a little more quickly.

**What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Act! addresses the issue of "fragmented data." Prior to Act!, our client data was dispersed throughout several spreadsheets. Everything is now centralized, which has enhanced internal cooperation and made sure that no client follow-up is ever overlooked.

**What do you like best about Act!?**

The main advantage of Act is its fast process, and the installation is quick as well. The plans are affordable, which is a big plus. Whenever I run into any issues, customer support is user-friendly and responds quickly to help resolve them. Another key benefit is that it’s integrated with AI, which helps keep the security features strong. The integrations and the UI in the app are also very user-friendly, so even a newbie can use them easily.

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

The area where I feel the act should improve is advertising and publicity, so they can increase their customer count and, obviously, their profits. The prices are also affordable, but they could attract more users by providing some complimentary items, so users feel drawn to the free goodies and decide to join.

**What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Act, I was using various other service providers and I wasn’t satisfied. I faced many problems, such as poor customer support, weak security features, and a limited number of services. However, I haven’t faced these issues with Act. For me, Act feels like a combo—an all-in-one package—and I’m now satisfied with Act’s services.

**What do you like best about Act!?**

I like how Act! is straightforward and reliable for day-to-day sales and contact management, doing exactly what a growing team needs without unnecessary complexity. The unified contact and interaction timeline really stands out for us, as it stores every email, call, meeting, note, and follow-up task right under each contact or company, allowing our entire sales team to see the full relationship history at a glance. We don't have to switch between emails, spreadsheets, calendars, or chat tools to understand what's been discussed or promised, which keeps our client communication consistent and professional. I also really appreciate how intuitive the activity and task management is—setting reminders, scheduling follow-ups, and assigning tasks takes just a few clicks, and keeps the team disciplined about staying in touch with prospects and clients. For a mid-sized team without dedicated sales operations staff, this simple but powerful feature prevents deals from slipping through the cracks.

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

First, the user interface looks and feels outdated. Navigation can be clunky, menus are dense, and some workflows require too many clicks. New team members take longer to get comfortable than with more modern CRM tools, and daily use just isn’t as streamlined as it could be. Second, email integration and syncing can be inconsistent. Sometimes emails don’t log automatically to the contact timeline, or there are delays in syncing with our email client. We occasionally have to check and re-save manually, which breaks the 'set it and forget it' convenience we want.

**What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Act! centralizes customer data, preventing disorganized information. It helps manage follow-ups with reminders and provides clear sales pipeline visibility. It enhances team collaboration by giving access to complete interaction histories, preventing missed tasks and ensuring consistent client communication.

**What do you like best about Act!?**

I really like that Act! is very user-friendly, making it really easy to track everything. Adding new clients is simple, and it helps keep us in tip-top shape, which is so important for our CRM and SMB tasks. The setup was very easy, and everyone was really helpful, making it a quick process.

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

Sometimes it can be a little slow. It can get a tiny bit bogged down if you have multiple clients and pipelines. And, again, we don't know if that's our Wi-Fi or our computer issues, but just we tend to see that when there's a lot of activity, it can get a little bit slow.

Act! is an affordable way to stay organized, track all client management, maintain touch points, and connect with clients so we don't miss sales.

Act! is my hub for relationship management. As a virtual assistant, my work depends on maintaining a comprehensive record for each contact; I use the platform to segment databases, manage the sales pipeline, and run automated marketing campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

The interface feels outdated compared to current SaaS software standards. Navigation is sometimes unintuitive and requires too many clicks to perform simple tasks, which slows down my workflow when I’m managing large volumes of data.

**What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Functionality is undoubtedly Act!'s greatest strength. For my work, the ability to customize tables and fields is essential, as it allows me to tailor the CRM exactly to my clients' specific processes—something that other, more rigid CRMs don't allow. Simplicity is the best with Everything connected. The Advancements made in 2025 have been exceptional.
As a user there are many things that I don't use but can if needed.
I think we will grow together.

I have been a user off and on for many years and just keep coming back

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

In the past I have really disliked the fact that if I ran into a problem the consultant would want to charge me.
As a user of other software for many years this was never the case.

I would like to see a more flexible way of doing a quote page

Really enjoy the fact that we can now project manage and quote in the sofware

**What do you like best about Act!?**

Updated 11/5/2025: just upgrade to V27 and applications works as well as expected. Currently on Act! Version 25.0.376.0, Update 3, and easiest version ever to use.  Fast, great response when running queries.  I rely on Act! and have used it just about every business day since 1992.

Easy to enter data, keep track of my schedule, conduct mail merges, very easy to customize the user interface, and generate reports for my business processes. I've been an ACT! user since Version 2 and thoroughly enjoy the upgrades.  Upgrades over the past 7-8 years have become easier, and faster and have resulted in fewer calls to tech support.  Integrating Act! to work with Outlook 365 has become seamless.

The automatic updates are helpful to keep the application performing optimally. 

The ACT! Community is very helpful. You can query for problems and likely see the response or solutions offered by others.  If not, you can enter a new problem or request for help and usually another User or one of the ACT! employees will offer help.

Incredibly easy to install the software when I get a new laptop.  When needed, the phone support is always 100% perfect.  I've needed help with a database or upgrade issues and I'll call the toll-free number for support.  The professionals are always friendly, and knowledgeable.  Support calls have always been resolved on the first call.

**What do you dislike about Act!?**

There were horrific versions and lack of communications in the past.  All good now. Not a fan of the new annual renewal feee but that’s the current business model and so you pay…

**Recommendations to others considering Act!:**

Easy to use & customize; tremendous reporting capabilities

**What problems is Act! solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a salesperson and need a tool to track my activities, calls, appointments, when to invoice, and ensure I've gotten paid.  Act! works perfectly for my business needs.  I run a recruiting firm and it is critical to keep track of candidates, communications with them and especially to keep track of the interview process & invoicing process.  Keeping track of contacts, events, Invoicing, and other related follow-up activities.  The ability to generate graphic charts to visually see the impact of sales per year, quarter, etc. is helpful.
