Act! brings contacts, history, activities, opportunities, and follow-ups together in a way that actually helps beyond sales. As a Project Manager, that matters a lot because not everything lives inside a task board. A lot of the time, I need to know what was discussed with the client, what is still pending, when the last conversation happened, and which opportunity might turn into an active project next. Act! helps keep that story connected. I do not use it only as a sales tool; I use it to stay ahead of upcoming work. When an opportunity starts moving forward, I can already begin thinking about resources, timelines, and possible dependencies before the project is fully closed. That early visibility saves us from a lot of planning surprises. I also appreciate having clear resources and practical guidance when setting up fields, activities, or campaigns, because a messy CRM setup is the kind of thing that follows you for months. During the setup, we got a little carried away and wanted to create fields for everything: client type, priority, source, stage, internal notes, owner, probability, and several other details. After a few weeks, it became clear that too many fields were making the CRM feel heavier than it needed to be. We cleaned up the structure and kept only the fields that actually helped us make decisions. That made the platform much easier to use day to day and helped the team focus on the information that really mattered instead of filling out data just for the sake of it.
