"Effortless Multi-Entity Consolidation with AccountsIQ"

What do you like best about AccountsIQ?

We have used AccountsIQ for over 10 years as the cloud accounting system for our Irish parent company and our subsidiaries in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Its biggest strength over competing products is the ability to apply a standard chart of accounts across multiple companies and consolidate easily back to group level. That saves our finance team a lot of time at month-end and gives me a reliable group view without manual workarounds. My favourite feature is the GL Explorer, which lets me drill down into any GL code and analyse the detail quickly. For a multi-entity, multi-currency business like ours, it does exactly what we need. What do you dislike about AccountsIQ?

Honestly, we have very few complaints after more than 10 years on the system. The user interface feels dated in places compared with some newer cloud products, and it takes new users a little time to learn where things sit. Reporting works well, but building custom report layouts could be more intuitive for non-finance users. What problems is AccountsIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

Running a group with companies in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada means managing multiple entities, currencies and reporting requirements. AccountsIQ solves this by giving us one cloud platform with a standard chart of accounts across every company. Group consolidation happens quickly and accurately, with no spreadsheets or manual journals to pull it together. Our finance team and overseas managers can all work in the same system from anywhere, which suits a business spread across time zones.
