Accelo is sometimes overly complicated and lacks what you would consider as basic features. And the constant changes it goes through also makes it had to keep up with the newer features.

The integration of all projects that a client is assigned can all be managed on Accelo - timesheeting, project management, project cost tracking, and so much more.

Accelo provides users a strong view of a team's capacity. It allows for project managers to quickly see what bandwidth they have available.

The only downside to Accelo is the lack of real-time updates. If two teammates are actively working in the same job, there is a risk one person's changes might be overwritten or missed.

A lot to learn — its broad range of features means it took us a while to get our heads around the system and how to best set it up for our business.

Get the whole business bought into the platform early to promote a smooth rollout and maximise the value you get out of the system quickly.

You can also integrate with a lot of differnt programs to enhance automation

Not much I don't like. Even though there is a vast amount of how-to videos, it would be helpful to have a "chat" support option always visible within the application. Having this would help us answer questions and fix any problems quickly.

We first started using Accelo as an over-priced ticketing system solution. We are just not starting to use the Projects, Sales, and Client Portal modules which are extremely powerful and helpful for what we do as a MSP.

No PM system is perfect and we have tried a dozen. This by far is the best one we have used. The easy integrations and flexible api are two of the major items that we needed. The google integration and quickbooks integration are great.

Using all the features is a lot to manage because it does so many things. Everything is does has been great for us.

One of the major problems is client tracking and information. The google integration allows managers to follow information threads which help answer and solve problems quickly.

The icon of the eye is not intuitive and I don't like how every task automatically takes on the date range of the milestone with which it is associated.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

A great experience during implementation. First of all during the sales cycle the Sales person (Anthony Garrett) took the time to understand our business and what we were trying to achieve. The implementation manager (Pat Doyle) was very thorough, patient and methodical. After the process was complete the Director of Implementation checked in with us to confirm everything was to our satisfaction. Overall, we have found the software intuitive and very flexible and quite easy to configure to our processes.

Nothing so far. Accelo is one of the best kept secrets in the CRM space.

We are solving the problem of keeping track of all communications with client prospects by sales and marketing teams.  Additionally, we have full integration with our accounting software (Xero) for invoicing.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Accelo presents complete project management features from start to finish, being one of my favorite aspects in relation to software, giving excellent information about the ideas in progress of each of the clients with whom a particular company works, to carry out a good total view of the operators from any place and device that is desired to be used in these operations, helping to offer services, adapting to the environment of said organization, for planning tasks, pending work, appointments, and among others functions that run on a large scale and achieve significant change in these areas of work, automation and project management.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

Apparently it shows signs of prevalent and annoying errors, when we try to move and designate the tasks of an entire organization, including meeting statistics or among other important data based on the steps that are carried out through this software, as these events can be a serious problem, having to restart the entire server, losing the programming settings, being a disastrous inconvenience in large quantities.

**Recommendations to others considering Accelo:**

We can determine that Accelo is a system that can do everything, as long as it has margin and relationship with the subject, based on automation of deeper services or for a professional environment and for project management that is carried out on a daily basis, whether they are tasks, capacity planning for the probability of purchasing a product for a certain convenience of your due company, financial reports at business levels, and among other characteristics that this software covers in a very sophisticated way.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this software in large quantities as it provides good features that are our convenience, its function in the company platform that we have, mostly for automation on our servers, to carry out a development based on artificial intelligence based on schedules, so that this system acts only in its opinion, as long as it maintains the benefits of its work to our environment, mentioning that we implement this application mainly for the management of projects that we execute on a large scale, to maintain one of these schedules , which is time tracking to encourage pending tasks to be done.

To change status for Projects is a bit of a pain. I had to go to each project to change status instead of doing it seamlessly in the project list.

The ability to model a complex set of activities with great accuracy, as well as the easy integration of new features (e.g. new teams, new project form etc.). Before using Forecast, we struggled to find a tool that worked well for project/product portfolio management without being too formal and tedious to use. Forecast combines these requirements very well.

Some features could perhaps be even more intuitive to use

Accelo has a minimum user stipulation which makes it inaccessible to one or two man bands.

Perform a proper review of your requirements before considering Accelo as the solution because once you're in, you won't want to leave!

I solved many problems using Accelo. Managing retainers efficiently was a huge one for me. The retainers module made it super easy to track all work happening for any client.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

Forecast has helped us get a better understanding of our resource management and track our projects in a more accurate and timely manor. We used and investigated a number of other softwares but none of them let us link our project and task management to our resources allocation in the same way as Forecast. 

Further, Forecast has allowed us to create a unified and streamlined process across all of our projects. Each level of users  (collaborator, manager, admin) data works together to disseminate information across the system. This allows each level of user to find the information they need to complete their task. Our collaborators can see what they should be working on, our managers can assign tasks and track progress and our executive can gain a high level insight into the work being done across the company.

The software is constantly being updated and in our time (just over a year) of using the software we have seen several new features and quality of life updates.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

While great for tracking and managing an internal team, it needs some work on the way it tracks freelancer and contractors.

With so many tasks in a project, it can get overwhelming when users look at the "My Work" dashboard. It would be great if there were a way to list task by priority.

**Recommendations to others considering Accelo:**

Investigate how the software integrates with your current apps and softwares. There are a large list of integrations that make working across this software and other a lot easier. However, some are limited in their ability to integrate. Make sure you are aware of the integrations uses and limitations.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We initially were looking for a better way to track our budget through time reporting. However, Forecast use has grown in our company to include resource planning, work management and scheduling. Our team now has a better understanding of their current and upcoming workload. Our executive team is able to gain a better insight into the profitability and benefits of each of our projects.

I like that Forecast allows us to streamline a lot of the different processes within the business and the way the information within the program is presented makes it really easy to learn and use.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

At this stage some of the features go more in depth than it's currently necessary for us to make use of in terms of the  level of detail certain process can be tracked/recorded but as we continue to integrate using forecast into our regular business processes I can quickly see this changing.

**Recommendations to others considering Accelo:**

Forecast is a really helpful and intuitive project managing tool. As a new user of project managing software I found it a really straight forward program to learn to use with the customer support and online tutorials a really beneficial resource to quickly get me up to speed. The amount of control you can have over the different features within the program is incredibly useful for tailoring which information is shared with the various members of my team.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and recording how much time was being allocated and spent on certain projects was an issue and the time tracking feature is proving to be really helpful in solving that. Forecast allows us to have a very clear visual representation of the various tasks that are required to carry out the projects we do whilst simultaneously being able to see how all of the different parts of the business interact with each other.

**What do you like best about Accelo?**

As a freelancer, he helps me organize my time, assign hours according to priorities and give visibility to my clients about the evolution of each task within the projects. They also have visibility of my expenses against the budget. I organize my projects (I can use different colours to differentiate them), I add tasks, I forecast the time for each one but with the flexibility of being able to modify it according to my needs and those of my clients. Especially now, when most of the people is working from home, it is beneficial having a tool that allows you to be more focus and organised while doing your daily job. Also, it gives your clients the ability to see and understand how do you manage your time, what tasks take more time, and how the budget has been used. Besides, the report section also allows you and them to keep control of monthly projects, tasks and deadlines.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

I am happy with the software at the moment. They recently updated and improved the user interface making it more user-friendly and easy to understand. The new navigation has been streamlined giving you a more clear image of where is every feature and functionality under some main categories. 

I would improve the way you can edit several tasks at the same time - especially when it comes to recurrent activities. Also, I would add an extension to allow users upload their time logs directly on Google Drive. Also, the duplication of projects and other setting within projects should be more visible. First time users have a hard time finding them and understanding how to use them.

**Recommendations to others considering Accelo:**

I would give it a try. The customer support team and their representatives are extremely helpful during the onboarding process. Besides, it's a software that can be used not only for managers and employees but also for HR and administrative teams, giving the whole organisation a wide vision of how projects & clients are working together and how the budget and time has been allocated and managed.

**What problems is Accelo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As remote worker, my clients needto trust me but at the same time they need visibility of what I am doing and how I am managing and organising my time. Forecaste allows me to be better at time management. I have a better view of tasks against the whole project  (helping me identify areas of opportunity). Also, by completing projects ahead of time, I can allocate the remaining hours on other activities. Forecast gives you the flexibility of managing your time in the best way for you as a worker without sacrificing the results expected by your clients.

There is a ton of customization options, but if you aren't highly knowledgeable about Accelo, it's hard to figure out.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

I hate that there aren't rich text fields for descriptions. If you need to write a long description or note, than it is impossible to read without any formatting.

Forward-thinking/modern design towards time planning, integrates with the systems that our consultants use the most and ability to manage retainers and more than basic contract arrangements with customers. Email capture and logging assists consultants to not need to remember fine details and also tracks the actual work that they do, helping to build an accurate picture of what is really going on.

Handling multiple countries can be challenging - public holidays across multiple grographies and multiple currencies

The email campaign feature is really lame. The sales feature is very geared towards professional services, not for discrete items. If you try to use it for discrete items, it gets clunky.

APIs are buggy... especially when it comes to Project Management budgeting.

Accelo is quite useful software when it requires automation in repeatable processes that an organization acquires, precisely when it comes to professional work sections, which means a delicate area in these work areas of high importance at the business level, specifically in the massive emails that must be sent daily, if your establishment is in charge of marketing by these communication methods, which is guaranteed since the effectiveness maintains a fairly high percentage, being one of my favorite systems, thanks to this point and the robust project management that this app contains.

The view in the programming area that this software maintains, for the constant performance that it must perform, could be more consistent, since sometimes, establishing an update of the work that must be executed, to an unrepeatable environment, is difficult, since that its functions are internally peculiar and require a basic knowledge to learn to use its purposes, in an easier and more comfortable way, being otherwise a total challenge, which should update these areas of greater concentration in use.

Accelo is a sophisticated system based on the automation of professional services within an organization, including a majestic program for the management of projects and tasks that are frequently highlighted in a business establishment, highlighting that it is perfect in labor matters, to update automatically the profiles of the clients, to easily visualize when was the last time of correspondence interaction with these individuals, not excluding that it is ideal as an application for the decay related to the CRM.

We use Accelo, since from the beginning of its implementation, it provided us with a very important decrease in constant work time, by automating certain repeatable processes within our organization, after logically due programming, which was wonderful for us , since we can consolidate the data entry of sales that is carried out through emails in an automatic and simple way, being from another point of view a fantastic CRM system, both in areas related to digital marketing, as well as that of customer relations.

For example, if I spend 1 Hour doing logistics / resourcing for a particular client - Accelo allows me to utilize a kind of stop watch to monitor every second.

Per project the budget tracking and forecasting are connected and the resource scheduling is all driven from one central data source.

**What do you dislike about Accelo?**

It's very difficult and admin heavy to plan in detail day to day. With a 5 or more people working on a project you quickly get to hundreds of tasks. You can't split them or distribute the tasks across multiple days. Creating new tasks directly impacts the budget so its a difficult balance remembering to give and take time in order to create a resource plan that is actually reflective of what you need day to day. The scope view then becomes unmanageable.
