What do you like best about ABBYY Intelligent Document Processing?

I really like how effectively ABBYY can turn unstructured documents into structured, usable data. Its OCR and document-understanding capabilities make it possible to automate workflows that would otherwise require a lot of manual data entry and validation, which saves time and reduces the need for repetitive checks. What do you dislike about ABBYY Intelligent Document Processing?

So far, I haven’t run into any major drawbacks. That said, I’d be interested to see how it performs on more complex scans or lower-quality scanned documents, and how much configuration is needed to support highly customized extraction workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ABBYY Intelligent Document Processing solving and how is that benefiting you?

We conducted a proof of concept focused on processing large volumes of invoices. Our current process requires manually reviewing invoices and counting key information, so we are exploring ABBYY to make this workflow semi-automated through OCR and intelligent data extraction. The main benefits we’re aiming for are reducing repetitive manual effort, improving consistency in how invoice data is handled, and creating a more scalable process for managing high invoice volumes.
