I use 8x8 Work for work calls. I like that I can contact customers without sharing my personal number, and that customers have to use the proper channels. I also like being able to group phones so people can call a department instead of an individual. I really like the app because I can use my cell phone as my work phone while keeping work separate from home. Everything is synchronized, so I have one place for voicemail and can check it on my PC, answer calls on my cell phone, or use my desk phone. My calls adapt to how I work, and people can reach me at the same number on any device. I like the call forwarding, checking voicemails on my PC, and cutting and pasting numbers into the PC app to dial from my desk phone and avoid dialing the wrong number. It’s easy to add new staff, people pick it up and use it fast, and the user experience has always been excellent. I give 8x8 Work a 10 for how likely I am to recommend it. I’d love a voice-to-text feature so I could read my voicemails instead of listening to them. Call queues also leave customers waiting when nobody is logged in. I’d like the queue to send them to voicemail when no one is available, or have a timeout that sends them to voicemail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
