What do you like best about 8thwall?

What I appreciate most about 8th Wall is how straightforward it is to create and launch high-quality web-based AR experiences, all without requiring users to install an app. The implementation process is impressively simple—adding AR features to existing web projects takes minimal time, and the documentation is both clear and well-organized. The WebAR tools offer a lot of flexibility, enabling me to rapidly prototype and publish interactive experiences that perform reliably across mobile browsers. As a developer, I also value the robust editor environment, the strong tracking capabilities, and the seamless integration with the JavaScript frameworks we already use. What do you dislike about 8thwall?

The primary challenge with this platform is that, although it offers robust features, the pricing may be somewhat steep for smaller projects or experimental builds. Additionally, performance can fluctuate depending on the device and browser, occasionally necessitating extra optimization efforts. On a positive note, customer support is highly responsive and has been excellent in assisting with setup inquiries and resolving technical issues. What problems is 8thwall solving and how is that benefiting you?

8th Wall has made it much easier for us to create and deliver AR experiences directly on the web. We rely on it regularly, using it several times a week for client demonstrations, internal prototypes, and full-scale AR campaigns. Its straightforward integration with our existing front-end stacks allows us to embed AR content smoothly, eliminating the need for extensive native app development. This not only saves significant development time but also provides users with an immersive experience that launches instantly in their browsers.
