"6sense Makes ABM Segmentation Dynamic, Precise, and Aligned Across Teams"

5/5

What do you like best about 6sense Revenue Marketing?

What I value most about 6sense is its segmentation capability for account-based marketing. The platform makes it easy to build and refine account tiers based on intent signals, firmographic fit, and buying stage, so we can move away from a one-size-fits-all approach and actually match our messaging and channel mix to where an account is in the buying journey. Being able to segment accounts dynamically — rather than relying on static lists — means our targeting stays current as accounts show new intent signals or move through the funnel. This has made our ABM programs feel much more precise and has helped marketing and sales stay aligned on which accounts to prioritize and how to engage them. What do you dislike about 6sense Revenue Marketing?

The main drawback is the learning curve. 6sense is a powerful, feature-rich platform, but that also means there's a lot to learn to use it effectively — from understanding how the intent scoring model works to configuring segments, orchestration workflows, and integrations correctly. New team members in particular need meaningful ramp-up time before they can confidently use the platform to its full potential, and even experienced users can find it takes time to discover all the capabilities available. More guided onboarding, in-app walkthroughs, or role-based training paths would help shorten that ramp-up period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 6sense Revenue Marketing solving and how is that benefiting you?

6sense helps us solve the problem of visibility into buyer intent before accounts ever reach out to us. Traditionally, we'd only know an account was interested once they filled out a form or engaged directly with sales — by which point competitors may already be in the conversation. With 6sense's intent data and account identification, we can see which accounts are actively researching relevant topics earlier in their buying journey, and combine that with firmographic fit to prioritize the right accounts.

This directly supports our ABM segmentation strategy: instead of treating all accounts the same, we can tier and target them based on real signals rather than assumptions. The benefit is more efficient use of marketing spend and sales time, since we're focusing effort on accounts that are actually in-market, and messaging feels more relevant because it's aligned to where the account is in the funnel. It's also improved alignment between marketing and sales, since both teams are working off the same account prioritization rather than separate lists or gut instinct.
