What do you like best about 3ds Max?

the modifier system makes everything every fast and accurate! very easy to adapt from Maya users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about 3ds Max?

it could be challenging when it comes to rigging and animation, it's not as straightforward as Maya, and the scripting system is harder to get on board, they now have Python in there, yet still difficult to navigate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering 3ds Max:

use this for all your hard surface, you will not use another program ever again! cars, trucks, airplanes, buildings, interiors, and all sorts of hard surfaces! really fast! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is 3ds Max solving and how is that benefiting you?

it builds the scene super fast and quick, the snapping system is super on point! it could load really big scenes, they somehow make the UI read really fast! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
