## 1Password Reviews
  ### 1. Seamless, Simple Password Management Across Desktop and Mobile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roger B. | Co-Founder and CTO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password is one of the software tools that is part of my day to day, hour by hour ways of working. From storing all my access logins to sharing credentials with team mates. It's a wonderful product that works seamlessly on both my desktop and mobile devices. I'm a big fan. I've never had a need to contact support as it works so well and as the person responsible for onboarding colleagues onto the platform that's also super simple and easy to manage. The user experience is simple and easy to use and it integrates with Chrome and most of the desktop applications I use.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

A very small gripe around when you have a work and family account on the same device. When one of them isn't logged in it can be a little confusing why passwords aren't being retrieved. But once you figure this out it's easy to just login and carry on.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Put simply, it addresses the challenge of managing secure access to platforms and making sure passwords remain strong across the organisation.

  ### 2. One-Place Password Management with 1Password

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanna J. | Product Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password makes it easy to share passwords with the whole team. It's convenient that you can avoid sending passwords — one person just has to add them and share them with the whole team in a few clicks. For personal use, it's great to have one place to manage all passwords, rather than having to create them myself and think about including all those special characters, numbers, etc. 1Password makes it so easy. I really like the fact that it has a Chrome extension, too.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

I'm having an annoying problem using 1Password when the tool uses Captcha or something similar. It's almost impossible to fill in the password and confirm that you are not a robot in one second. Every time I log in to WordPress, for example, I have to remember to start with the robot prevention and then quickly use 1Password.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps me manage lots of different passwords, create strong ones and share them with my team. Thanks to that, I don't have to worry about storing my passwords securely.

  ### 3. 1Password Delivers Peace of Mind with Strong Passwords and Seamless Syncing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nagesh B. | Sr. Transaction processing officer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

One of the most helpful features is its ability to generate and autofill strong, unique passwords across websites and apps, which significantly improves online security without requiring extra effort. The cross-platform syncing ensures that data is always available on mobile, desktop, or browser extensions. Additional features like secure sharing (for teams or family), Watchtower alerts for breached or weak passwords, and Travel Mode add extra layers of convenience and protection.
Overall, the biggest upside of using 1Password is peace of mind—you don’t have to remember multiple complex passwords, and your digital life stays much more secure and organized.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

One drawback is that it’s a fully paid service—there’s no permanent free tier like some competitors offer. While the features are strong, the subscription cost can feel unnecessary for users who only need basic password storage.
Another issue is the learning curve for new users. The concept of a master password plus a Secret Key can be confusing at first, and if either is lost, account recovery becomes difficult since the system is designed with strict security and minimal recovery options.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a business perspective, it solves the challenge of securely sharing sensitive information like login credentials, API keys, and financial details among team members. Instead of sending passwords over email or chat (which is risky), teams can share access safely within controlled vaults, with permissions and access tracking.
It also helps tackle employee onboarding and offboarding issues. When someone joins or leaves, access can be granted or revoked instantly without needing to manually change dozens of passwords, which improves both security and operational efficiency.

  ### 4. Simple Setup, Seamless Password Management Across OS and Browsers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nahed K. | Head of People and Culture, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

It's very simple to set up and use on a daily basis. Creating and retrieving passwords is a breeze! Best of all, it integrates with every OS and browser I use, so the experience is consistent.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

There are some field detection issues on some websites, especially on payment pages. I'm not sure to what extent 1Password can solve this, but there are situations where 1Password won't detect a credit card number or other field on the form, so it won't auto-fill. There are also instances where autofills are not detected by the website, so I have to delete a character and re-enter it for the website form to detect that the field was filled.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps me securely manage my personal and business accounts. Everyone in my household has an account and it's a great way to share passwords to common-use accounts while maintaining a private vault for each person's individual accounts.

  ### 5. Fast Sync, Easy to Use, and Great Cross-Platform Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig H. | Technology Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

The speed of record syncing between devices, ease of use and of both the browser extension and the desktop app. The integrations with other applications and systems for alerting, login, and interoperability. The support for API, and CLI use, which allows for automation and keeping credentials secure. The cross-platform support it provides, from Chrome-OS, to Windows, to Linux, and macOS. The ability to support multiple accounts and the very reasonable price.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

For most SCIM integrations, you need to run your own 1Password SCIM Bridge.
Injecting a password into text using typing, like Keeper does, rather than using paste. This limits it's ability to fill out credentials if using a remote system that does not support copy/paste.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an MSP, it provides a cost-effective way to help our customers be secure.
As a business, it provides us the ability to securely store and share information with colleagues using RBAC.
It allows us to use automations and keep secrets secure by using APIs and CLIs and service accounts.

  ### 6. Seamless High-Security Password Management with an Intuitive Browser Extension

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina M. | Freelance SEO Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

As a freelance SEO specialist and writer, my "office" is entirely digital, and my security needs are complex. What I love most about 1Password is the seamless balance between high-level security and user accessibility. The browser extension is incredibly intuitive, allowing me to switch between personal vaults and client-specific credentials without missing a beat.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The initial setup for advanced features, like integrating with specific IAM infrastructures or setting up complex vault permissions, can have a slight learning curve for non-technical users. However, their documentation is excellent, and once it's configured, it runs flawlessly in the background.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing a freelance writing and SEO business means I am constantly juggling sensitive access credentials for dozens of different client websites, and 1Password has become the backbone of my digital security. It solves the massive headache of password fatigue by allowing me to maintain high-level security protocols without slowing down my creative workflow. The real benefit is the peace of mind it provides my clients; they know their company data is protected by enterprise-grade encryption while I’m working on their sites. Beyond just storage, the platform gives me total visibility into my security posture through detailed reporting, allowing me to be proactive about potential threats or weak links before they become issues. As I mentor other writers and scale my business, the ability to share specific vaults securely ensures that I can collaborate with a team without ever having to expose master passwords, making my entire operation more professional and significantly more secure.

  ### 7. Easy, Organized Password Manager That Saves My Time Every Day

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I work as a Dietician and Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic and also create health content, so I have to handle many accounts for daily work. I have saved different logins here, so it becomes easy to open them without searching again and again. What I like is it keeps everything in one place, so I don’t have to remember passwords every time. It is easy to use and setup was also simple, I could start using it without much help. I use the browser extension, so when I open my work accounts it shows saved login and I can sign in quickly without typing. I use it almost daily, so it saves time and work feels more organised. It has enough features for my use, not too complex. I did not use support much, but overall it works fine for me.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Sometimes when I am handling many saved logins, it takes a little time to find the exact one, especially if names are similar. Also in the beginning I had to spend some time understanding how things are organised inside. It is not a big issue, but small adjustments take a bit time. Overall it works fine for me.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before this I used to keep passwords in different places or just remember them, so many times it got confusing and I had to reset again. Now everything stays in one place and it fills login automatically which saves time in work. I also use the browser extension, so when I open my work accounts it shows saved login and I can sign in fast without typing. It also suggests strong passwords when making new accounts. Overall it makes daily work more easy and less headache.

  ### 8. 1Password is a Seamless, Worry-Free Password Manager for my Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lydia B. | NCCC, Co-Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I don’t know a single one of my passwords, and I like it that way. Knowing my team’s passwords are securely stored and protected gives me one less thing to worry about. Updating and changing passwords is also no longer a chore we all dread.

I’ve used 1Password for five years now, and I can’t imagine working without it. After testing Last Pass and Dashlane, both felt too daunting to learn and then teach to my team. By contrast, 1Password was a seamless transition: we were able to import our saved browser/phone/tablet passwords, and it was easy for everyone on the team to pick up. Truly a business owner’s best friend.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Having to work within separate Microsoft environments for each individual user can be challenging, especially when a colleague is out of the office and you need to retrieve something from their computer.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password saves us time every time we log in. Once I unlock the system with my unique master password and secret key, everything works like magic from that point on.

  ### 9. 1Password Simplifies Security and Keeps My Passwords Safe

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven K. | Technical Support Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

1Password completely simplifies my security issues, storing all of my passwords for work and my personal life. I don't have to worry about security concerns, or where my data is living. They solve the problem and make it easy for me to access it, and not for attackers.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

The biggest issue I've found would be the onboarding process for new users, there are quite a few hurdles they need to jump through. With people moving to new platforms, when they are used to Google, Microsoft Edge, Windows storing their passwords without thinking. It can be a challenge to get them to move.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing me to share any one-time passwords, MFA, etc. with specific teams without them being granted access to a large amount of data has been a live saver.

  ### 10. Secure, Organized Credential Management Across Devices with 1Password

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rehan A. | Artificial Intelligence Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2026

**What do you like best about 1Password?**

I use 1Password to securely store passwords, API keys, and other sensitive information for my development work. What I like most is that it keeps everything organized in one place and allows me to access credentials across different devices. The browser extension also makes logging into websites quick and convenient.

**What do you dislike about 1Password?**

Some advanced features are available only in paid plans, and it can take a little time to organize existing passwords during the initial setup.

**What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1Password helps me manage multiple passwords securely without reusing credentials or relying on memory. This benefits me by improving security, saving time during logins, and keeping sensitive information organized and easily accessible.
