Rather than having an analyst manually chase down evidence for every control, the agent gathers the relevant evidence and returns a pass/fail result with the reasoning attached—so you can audit the “why,” instead of just trusting a black-box score. That reasoning trail is what makes it practical in a real compliance workflow, not something that only looks good in a demo. The UI is also genuinely clean for a GRC product, and onboarding didn’t require me to read documentation to get started.

I used Zania hands-on during an evaluation exercise rather than a long production deployment, so that’s the perspective I’m writing from. What stood out most was the agentic control testing.
