The platform is flexible enough to meet the demands of a research environment, and the team are highly skilled in developing specific functionality. Our use cases were very specific and required integration with an existing complex system, and the workerbase team were able to achieve this within the project timeframe. The cloud deployment meant that the requirement for support from our IT team was minimal, and updates and patches could be applied rapidly. Their smart watches have enabled us to demonstrate new ways for operators to interact with eachother and the manufacturing execution system (MES). The assignment of roles and access was easy, and where we needed support from the workerbase team, it was readily available. The hardware itself has proven to be a poerful tool, minimising the requirement for operators to type information manually and using scanner instead.
