It is an easy to use platform and has helped me to engage larger groups of students and be able to address misconceptions within the room and gain a good understanding of student understanding.

I find Vevox to be an easy tool to use, and it encourages engagement, especially in large introduction lectures where over 200 students might be hesitant to ask questions. It allows students to ask questions anonymously, which is a big plus. I also find it very effective for setting the scene in introduction lectures, thanks to its word cloud tool. This tool helps gauge students' perceptions or understandings of a particular topic. Additionally, the multiple-choice quizzes are great for recapping or ensuring student understanding, working well both during and at the end of a lecture. It's also useful for changing things up when attention starts to wane, providing a fresh change of scene with its various tools.
