A super flexible framework that’s easy to extend with plugins. Nearly all e-commerce logic can be replaced or extended with my own logic, which makes customization straightforward. It also supports fully customizable order flows and lets me extend the Admin UI as needed. I like that the core is open source, and that it’s based on TypeScript and NestJS.

Vendure is TypeScript-first from end to end, which makes it genuinely pleasant to extend. The plugin system, custom fields, custom GraphQL queries/mutations and dashboard extension points let you model real business domains without forking the core. Strong typing across entities, services, resolvers and the Admin API catches mistakes at compile time, and the NestJS + TypeORM + GraphQL architecture stays clean and predictable as the project grows.
