What I like best about Ultimus is its flexibility and ability to support complex, real world government processes. We used Ultimus to build and automate a government process for attestation service operating through Commercial Attaché offices, transforming a process that involves applicants, government employees, document verification, approvals, payments, and certificate issuance into an integrated digital workflow. The platform gave us the flexibility to design the process around actual government requirements rather than having to adapt the business process to the software. We were able to build customized forms and applications, implement multi stage workflows and business rules, integrate with external systems and services, manage electronic documents, and provide different interfaces and permissions for applicants, government staff, and administrators. One of the strongest advantages for us has been the ability to make changes relatively quickly as operational requirements evolve. For a government service involving multiple offices and different stakeholders, this flexibility is extremely valuable. We have also been very satisfied with the technical support from Ultimus. Having responsive support and access to people who understand both the platform and complex enterprise implementations has been important throughout the project. Overall, Ultimus has provided us with a strong foundation for delivering a highly customized government digital service while maintaining the flexibility needed for future expansion and integration.

What I like best about Ultimus is how it simplifies workflow automation and helps teams build and update digital services faster. Its low-code approach makes it easier to adapt processes to changing business needs.

I personally think Ultimus has a great feature in that both business and technical users can work on the workflows themselves—creating new ones and editing existing ones as needed. The SLA functionality is quite useful as well, since it keeps the team aware of tasks that might otherwise be dismissed or overlooked. Also, having a portal that our other systems can feed into, and being able to view everything through Ultimus alone, has proven very useful.
