Truffle is a candidate screening platform that helps us review resumes, one-way video interviews, and assessments in one place. The best part is that it doesn’t just give us a pile of candidate profiles. It surfaces match scores, summaries, Candidate Shorts, and the reasoning behind each signal, so we can quickly see who is worth a closer look. It’s especially useful when hiring falls on someone who isn’t a full-time recruiter. Truffle helps turn a messy inbox of applicants into a structured review workflow, while still leaving the final decision with our team.

I compared several vendors. Truffle was both (A) by far the easiest to use in terms of getting started and (B) had the best candidate evaluation capabilities. Other platforms required lengthy interview/job setups with multiple steps and candidly way too much information required in order to just get the interview setup. Re: The candidate evaluation, all of the candidates are put in a single list, automatically scored using their AI, summaries of each candidate and of each individual question generated for easy viewing.

I love how I'm able to set up an async video interview with Truffle, which quickly helps me weed out candidates that are a poor fit. The platform offers AI-suggested interview questions based on the job description I provide, and even when I create my own questions, it gives me grading criteria. For instance, if I ask about a process, it grades on how detailed the responses are. After candidates submit their video interviews, the Truffle AI goes through and grades everything, providing a percentage on how much of a match a person is for my position. Their support team is amazing, answering within just a couple of minutes. The platform keeps improving, and I appreciate the added features like personality assessments and different screening questions, making it a tool I will use for both overseas and US hires as my team grows. The initial setup was very easy because it's an incredibly intuitive platform.
