I am using the TIP tool for organising and tracking my ideas. In addition to that, I use it to look up the patent examiners' statistics and patent attorneys' performance, such as how many cases they abandoned and how many they got granted. Moreover, sometimes I use it to find the previous clients they worked with. The UI is simple. I'll just enter the name in the search bar and select the attorney or the examiner. It will automatically show me the details. For idea management, it has a simple form to collect ideas and a drag-and-drop interface to track the ideas. It has a Microsoft SSO integration for easy login. The TIP Tool performs well in idea management and patent management. It has a dashboard view for the patent portfolio. I specifically like their standalone tools. The pricing is quite affordable compared to the enterprise software. The standalone tool examiner analysis costs me $5/ month, and TIP Tool costs me $50 a month. The onboarding is simple. Just used my ID to log in, and they gave me a proper demo. It has a AI summary with a particular examiner or attorney's allowance rate , office actions and grant time. I find it very useful.

The system excels at preventing valuable patentable ideas from getting lost as they move through different teams and departments. The end to end tracking capability is particularly valuable being able to follow an innovation from its initial conception all the way through to patent filing gives great visibility into the entire IP pipeline. The enterprise wide approach also helps get more people involved in the innovation process rather than keeping it siloed in just R&D or legal teams.

The visual workflow is incredibly intuitive. It’s easy to move ideas through different stages from capture to patent filing without needing constant follow-ups. I also like how it brings inventors, legal teams, and decision-makers onto the same page. No more scattered emails or missed updates. Everything’s trackable in one place.
