Their ability to handle very complex data points

Trail Consult spends time up front learning your processes before starting a build, this really saves time during build outs. The team and communication are great.

The way Trail Consult managed the project deserves as much credit as the end result. They scoped the work into clear phases with defined deliverables, making it easy for us to track progress and understand what was coming next. Phase 1 went live as specified, while Phase 2 development has consistently run ahead of schedule. When questions arose, we received direct and timely answers, and the implementation was sequenced so that we were never left without a functioning system during the transition. They also worked closely with our internal administration team rather than around them, ensuring that our people were active participants in the process rather than simply recipients of the finished product. One of the aspects we value most is that Trail Consult built a system that allows us to operate autonomously. Knowledge transfer was treated as a core deliverable rather than an afterthought. Two members of our team completed hands-on training in the underlying technology stack, including dbt Cloud and GitHub, and are now able to maintain and extend the database independently. The architecture is materially more flexible than our previous system, giving us the ability to adapt and expand it as our needs evolve.
