Full control over work hours. Both billable and non billable. Good reports, and easy to use. Especially happy with the calendar sync with Outlook.

I get absorbed in my work and don't always remember to keep track of all my billable time. That's money down the drain! Toggl pops up and offers to create a new time record or continue with the existing one when my computer has been idle. Most of my work is at my computer. So when I switch to another activity or another device, I risk losing that time. Toggle reminds me when I sit down at my computer again. Another thing I like is that my timer is current when switching from the desktop app to my phone or to a web browser. I like the fact that I can start typing the name of a project, press the down arrow key to select it, tab over to the Start button and press the spacebar to start a time without every taking my hands off the keyboard. I keep my timer running all the time at work. It is just easier that way. A benefit is that I can see where my day went!

It seemlessly synchronizes between desktop and smartphone app. This means when I get up from my desk, e.g. going to a meeting or break, I can stop my time tracking from my phone if I forget to stop it from my desktop. The ability to export Reports in Excel files is also very handy.
