The main feature of Sync.com is the ability to offer zero-knowledge encryption for its cloud service. In laymans terms, only the person who knows the password can access the files in the cloud. No one else has access to view the files, no third party, no hacker (in the event your account gets hacked, which is very unlikely) and not even Sync.com. If anyone breaks into or accesses your account, they will only see giberish as all your files are encrypted, and they can only be decrypted with your password which is only available to you and no one else. Privacy is the key word when talking about Sync.com, or any other service which uses zero-knowledge encryption
